Lee Bruner Thanks again for your comment Lee, you cant do the turn coming downstream , you need to either go past as we did and turn into the lock going upstream or turn before the lock and allow the current to take you backwards then make the turn into the lock. Either way it’s a tricky turn.

Foxes Afloat Always a tricky turn, we watched a couple of boats coming down before we went up and they had different techniques. Xx

Hello John, yes this also surprised me, even more surprising though is if you google England’s smallest cities Ripon is 7th on the list and the City of London is 3rd. Who’d a thought it. 🤨. Thanks for watching. 👍

Hi Guys, love your banter. Seems you have same problem as me trying to find facilities. Think Nicholsons guide needs updating, even on line canal map can be wrong. Making my own notes on my boat log. Have you two started your boat log ? Regards Mark and Zac

Mark White Hi Mark, Your probably right, we have the latest Nicholson’s guides and they are still out of date. Not sure when they were last updated( not on the boat to check ) We now make notes in ours and we keep a log which goes onto our website to compliment the videos. Hope your well?
