I don’t see how Brady’s fumble vs Oakland (January 2002) was any less of a fumble than Bledsoe’s fumble here. They should both be considered fumbles. The refs in that snow game made the right call, but the rule itself was just a really dumb rule in the first place.

Pats should have been in shotgun, throwing bubble screens, rub routes, underneath, draws, maybe even 5 wide. I guess they were trying to cover for Bledsoe's broken finger. Horrible timing for an injury like that, this was a win otherwise.
