It melts me when he looks at his wife, Morgane, when he sings the sweet words. Chris is amazing. This is a cover song, but Chris is a fantastic songwriter. He wrote hits for other artists until Morgane talked him into recording them himself. Looking forward to more Chris.

i agree you will love "I was wrong" but you should react to his live performance of it also at Austin City Limits Performance. He also plays 2 guitar solos in this live performance you will love. Also it is ridiculous that Chris Stapleton is classified to a single genre of music. He is honestly more of a blues artist with a country twang to it, but his music crosses over all platforms and genres. To put it simply, his music is timeless and he is a one of a kind artist for sure!

First time I heard this song was Dayla filming her Dad, Chris Jones singing this in their vehicle. They sing Blue Ain’t Your Color together in another video filmed in their vehicle- very good, very sweet!

He opened for The Eagles in Houston last year. His concert alone was worth the entrance fee! He was more than AMAZING! Mesmerizing! The Eagles were just a sensational addition to the night. It was all beyond accurate description! I could have did happy!!!!!

Also, allow me to introduce you to The Best Guitarist in the world. My man, the Pride and Joy of Texas! Stevie Ray Vaughn (RIP). The best to start with is Texas Flood. He was taken from us way too early in 1991 in a helicopter crash, to date, no one compares to what this man did to a guitar. He and his guitar was alway one...so flawless, effortless, ENJOY, THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING OF GREATNESS.

George Jones wrote this and David Allen Coe made it famous. I have always loved the song and never imagined that I would like it revamped completely. But, I never get tired of listening to this version.

Love, love, love this song. A group called Voice Play did a cover that is also real good. Though they are Acappella like Home Free. Also if you like a good guitar may I suggest looking up Stevie Ray Vaughn. He passed many years ago but watching him is a joy in older videos.

You have to check out the best vocalist from down under John Farnham singing the Beatles song "Help" live with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. His vocals are crazy and he's an entertainer, the way he interacts with the crowd is awesome. John Farnham is an Aussie icon.

I believe you will truly enjoy what you hear, Stevie was the GOAT on guitar and had a good voice, he was taken from us way to soon , he was killed in helicopter crash and was only 36 years old.

Written in 1980 by Dean Dillon and Linda Hargrove. Recorded and charted in 1981 by David Allen Coe and in 1983 by George Jones(who hated the song, by the way). It has been recorded and released by many other artists on many albums. Including Meghan Linsey the same year Chris Stapleton released his cover.
