Hi, I have to remove my 3.0 from my b7, on the drive, is it easier to do what you’ve done and just drop the lot or can I remove the engine and leave the box and subframe in place? Thanks Andy
B kiri it does certainly make it easier but I’ve also done about everything that’s to be done on a car with either ramps or jack stands before I had a lift.
ohhhhh man .... so I just gotta ask ... how many hours is it to take out an engine like this one? I love Audi, but honestly they seem so utterly complex ....
RickWalshCleaning It’s actually alot easier than it looks. At a comfortable pace it’s about 2-2.5 hrs to remove it from start to finish (drive the car in to rolling the engine out). But if I’m in a hurry 1-1.5hrs.
