Okay... here's the thing: I've been overweight since like grade 6 and I'm now 38 years old. I've never enjoyed exercise. I've never been able to be consistent. But when the world shut down at the end of March, I challenged myself to 30 days of exercise. No excuses, every day. My very first workout was "30 minute fat burning home workout for beginners. Achievable, low impact results." by Team Body Project. I loved all the positive reinforcement and the REAL-ness of it. These truly are REAL workouts, with REAL people, and REAL results!! I'm hooked. My cholesterol is down 20 points, my clothes are fitting more loosely, my energy level is high, and I'm sleeping so much better. Thank you so, so much for these workouts. Also, this one was SO FUN! (And I never thought I'd say that about a workout! Ha!)

Never thought in a million years I would ever find a home workout that I would enjoy and actually look forward to doing. These small 10, 20 min workouts are great for me finishing work at home before I get the dinner for the kids. I don't feel intimidated and love that they are low impact.

Lakshmi Yes, I have totally overhauled my diet. I am eating between 1000-1200 calories daily. I use the food diary on the FitBit app to aim for 45% carbs, 30% fat and 25% protein.
This workout & all of The Body Project's videos get me smiling (sometimes giggling) and sweating. this is after a year of being quite sedentary & having a lot less flexibility and stamina now than I used to. You're helping me find it again! Forward fold hamstring stretches don't hurt anymore after doing one of your workouts each day for the past week. I have a blood cancer and often feel amazing fatigue. I also have a fused spine. Together the two things often sideline me. Thanks Vincent, we focus on both, we want to get people moving and loving their bodies first and foremost - we have hundreds of more traditional routines, but for us, it starts with enjoying moving our magnificent bodies - hence the switch up :)
I've been doing TBP workouts almost every day for 3 months now, and this one was the best so far. My two year old loves saying, "You're a winner!" while I workout, and she always asks, "Is that Daniel? Is that Alex??"
In 2020 not being able to go to the gym or travel to the beach to surf, I started with Starter Cardio ( you won me right there, not rookie, not beginner, but starter cardio) a year later I was out paddling my 30 year old son ( I'm 68) maybe he needs Starter Cardio! I could paddle harder ( with Alex's voice in my head, now's the time to give it everything you've got! And Daniel's voice It's in there, it's always in there!)), get out faster, lost weight and got back to using my smaller, faster boards. a few months ago I injured my groin, tore a muscle and couldn't walk. After months of rest ( no yoga, no exercise) I am back to slowly building up my stamina. I love this video for the sheer joy of it, your joy reaches out to all of us. I feel so happy to be back to moving my body and know I will slowly build back up the intermediate videos in no time. but for now, I love starting my day with you in this video. I’m a 58 year old cancer survivor and I’ve been enjoying watching Body Project and exercising along with them for about a month now. What an inspiration they have been for me to get up and go. I’m filled with so much more energy and I look forward for more videos and continuing my journey.

Alex, Daniel and the entire Team Body project have really changed my life during this quarantine period. I've never been one who enjoys getting dressed daily to go to the gym. Also, working out at home for me was never really interesting as I had no much idea on what to do. Ever since I stumbled on this channel, I have not looked back! The feeling of getting a good workout right in the comfort of my bedroom just keeps me motivated. So far, I have been able to drop 17.7 kg and I've got 10 kg more to go in order to reach my ideal weight of 65kg. I make sure I do at least 1 HIT workout everyday from TBP. Of course, I also cut down on bad foods and incorporated intermittent fasting in order to achieve my current weight. Guys, this channel is everything. I feel the positive energy from you guys and it keeps me going at home. Also, the background music keeps me pumped lol💃🏾. I searched “20 minute low impact cardio.” Because I’m 50. Because my blood pressure has been creeping up. Because I’d fallen out of working out and was discouraged by workout videos above my skill level. Because I have a vertebra to be careful of, a healing pectoral muscle, and woke up this morning with a sore shoulder. Because I just wanted to move. He ends the video by saying “We didn’t invent exercise in the 20th century. Exercise is movement, and we’ve been moving since the dawn of time.” This video was a perfect new beginning for me.

I'm a 25 year old who was hiking, doing yoga, and exercising every day prior to getting pregnant for the first time. I had an emergency c section 9 months ago and lost so much hope that I'd ever be able to get my body moving again without pain. I lost so much confidence in myself realizing my body couldn't handle the same high intensity workouts I was used to. But your videos have given me that hope again. It feels so good to move in a gentle way, yet still be able to break a sweat and feel the endorphins. I feel you Suzanne! A pregnancy (all the added weight, joints turned to rubber) and a C-section have such an impact on your body... And you have to wait for so long until you can start moving again afterwards. I was a half-marathon runner before my first pregnancy. I'm three years and a hip surgery later, and still not back to my old self. It's very confronting and discouraging at times, but the Body Project guys have the perfect workouts to be moving without hurting your body! You hang in there and keep moving! :)

I discovered Body Project about two months ago when I was getting tired of the same useless social media influencer workouts - and this particular workout has completely changed the way I think about and enjoy exercise. The integration with the music makes this feel more like a dance party, and I have such a great time doing this and using this time to connect with my body. I finished this whole workout, without stops or water breaks, for the first time today and feel AMAZING. Thank you for changing the way I think about exercise!! I cannot thank you enough!!

I was born with PCD & have many medical issues that always seem to get in the way of working out. I try gym classes but they are hard to keep up with, my lungs can’t keep up with the fast pace. I love that I discovered Body Project, it is a fun, high cardio but low pace for me. I love seeing all body types & enjoy how the instructors keep a moderate pace while making all moves doable & fun. I find myself able to do cardio 5/6days a week now. Thank you all for making a healthy lifestyle available for me.

You guys are doing SUCH a great thing here. Not only are these workouts realistic, but effective. They’re also so positive, not weight obsessed, and focused on self love. I’ve also seen some where different people do different variations, and not all of the most difficult exercises are done by the most fit person in the room. It’s just really encouraging. I found this through a friend, primarily because there's representation in the videos of people who aren't already thin and fit :D It's also really important to me that my workouts understand there *are* things I can't do. Screaming at me to ignore pain and push makes me want to stop. Telling me I can slow down or pause or straight-up march and watch makes me want to keep going.
I completed this routine today and thought it was fun and really did get my heartbeat up. The transitions were a bit confusing so I missed a few reps, but I was good the second and third time through the routines. I appreciate all that Daniel, Alex and the whole Team Body Project team do to help us get fit. I have lost 50 pounds since Jan 1 2020 and it is due, in part, to these videos. I really appreciate the positive vibes that both Daniel and Alex (but especially Daniel) provide to me as I work through the videos. I always ask myself, "Why did I press play?" and it seems to get me motivated again, even when I want to press pause. Thank you!!

i dont like cardio, and hiit cardio absolutely not. but with body project i can do everything, the most motivating team. i wanna say just keep motivating me...
TBP is so motivating and body-positive. I truly appreciate how their message isn't "if you aren't thin you aren't beautiful" - it's more along the lines of being healthy and feeling good about yourself. As someone who has struggled with body issues and diabulimia, doing these workouts leaves me sweaty but happy. These workouts are fun to do, and won't destroy your knees or back in the process of change.

Okay my first time here. Introduced by my in great shape sister, who is a member. While I walk 16km five days a week as a letter carrier, I have trouble losing weight. On weekends I am too lethargic, especially if it is too hot or too cold outside. I really enjoyed this. I was uncoordinated and awkward but had fun. I feel really good after and will be back again. Thank you for letting me try this and a few other workouts before joining. Will keep any other beginners like me who may read my post updated.
Just want to say, these "easy" and inspriing workouts for the average joe out there (which is most of us), is amazing. I get really inspired and sometimes emotional when you help us realize we just need to love our wonder bodies. okay I'm 47yr old retired Marine and I'mma workout fanatic! I run 4-5 half marathons a year & shoot basketball full court 4 days a week for 2-3hrs at the gym WHEN THE WORLD WAS OPEN. But now I've resorted to weights at home and going on 7-9 mile runs. But I miss getting drenched in sweat on the court. I've tried youtube cardio workouts n they're too intense or high impact. I found this today and got a low impact cardio workout that moves at my pace and that I can see myself doing 3-4 times a week! THANK YOU for this pace and versatility!! Yall are AWESOME! I can honestly say that I was able to do this whole video, in my head I figured I'd have to stop in the middle! This is coming from someone who gets winded very easily and is NOT active at all. I'm drenched in sweat and I am soo proud of myself!

Maybe my favorite BP workout because it always puts a smile on my face. Not the most challenging for me, but great for when I need a slower paced day and a quick yet effective cardio workout. I watched this video offline, but as soon as I was done, I logged on to just leave a like. Week 3 of Body Project videos (a different one everyday) and I love them all! And on those mornings I feel like I don't have the energy, I can hear Daniel's voice saying I'm a winner just for jumping in the video even when I didn't feel like it. And their low impact is ACTUALLY low impact... With high intensity and that just that still blows my mind. God Bless these two!

My husband just started working out with me. We both can do these workouts but theyre just the right amount of challenge. After two weeks he can fit into some shirts comfortable again and has lost 15 lbs. He stopped drinking beer every night too.
