Hi Jesse!!! I am looking forward to seeing your installation!!!! I can see the rubber boot!!! And the brown clip!!! It just popped out!!! I heard the click okay I see how you reattached attached it!!! There is a big difference in seeing the both of the lights on!!! But at night seeing the new ones!!!! Wow they are bright!!! Wow!!!! I loved your video Jesse!!!! As always!!!! Xoxo Pam ♥️💖💖♥️
I had a very hard time lining up the metal clip with the black rubber boot in place. Especially with the limited space due to the battery. I took apart the light fixture and secured the black plastic piece in place with the metal clip first. Then I took the led part with the boot attached and slid it into the black plastic piece which was already secured with the metal clip. For me this was 10x easier. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for the clarity and detailed video, your quality is way beyond others on RU-vid, how did they hold up ? I just picked a 2012 with 65k miles on it. Much appreciated ✌🏼
@@JesseRizo Jesse, what are you thoughts on the 2015 Trd off road 4x4 vs the 2018 trd off road? I cant decide between a used low mile 2015 trd off road or a newer 3rd gen trd off road.
Good video. Couple questions, how did you find out that curve area on the bulb need to face down? Trial and error? It doesn’t say anything about it in the instructions. I found it easier to remove the retaining ring on the bulb, secure that in the headlamp and the put the bulb in and rotate it in to place.
Thanks a lot my friend. Mine came with no instructions & i was contemplating if i should just throw away that gasket. Also, would not have guessed there was a right-way up 😅
Good video! I went and bought headlight and fogs and just put em on today. HUUUUGE difference..almost like HID's and look clean as hell. I just hope this isn't too good to be true and they last long.
If anyone is reading this, it's been well over 2 years now and the LASFIT LED's are still going strong. At this point, I can say these are proven replacement upgrades over OEM. The way the bulbs are designed, there is no glare for oncoming traffic at night as well. Extremely happy!
Awesome video, subbed! I also swapped out the halos and installed these exact LED'S from Lasfit. Was wondering if your LED headlights is still going strong and how long it lasted before it burnt out. Thanks for sharing brother!
What’s up man and they technically still work I ended up pulling them out it was my uncles truck and he kept getting flashed by other cars so he asked me to put his stocks back on lol
@Jesse Rizo I found you have to re adjust the headlights to stop people from flashing you. That or throw on your high beams and let them know you are on low beam😂
Great video except that little metal clip that’s supposed to hold the lightbulb in place completely came off when I was doing my headlight so I was catching hell just to figure out where it even went back together or what it went into to hold the light in place.I still haven’t figured out quite yet. I know this is an old video but if you happen to see this and don’t respond to me and give me some pointers, please. Besides that great dude!
Hey Sasquatch, I know it’s been awhile, about to purchase for my 2013 Tacoma and I’m worried about blinding other drivers, don’t want to be that guy lol. What’s your experience been. You get much flashing from thee drivers?
@@JesseRizo Lol I remember the pain of installing a measly intake in my old TSX 😂also bro Idk if I said this , I probably did but I actually really love your Intro it's so professionally done I got a lot to learn about editing haha
Doesn’t anyone go by the vehicle year anymore? What generation is my 2006 Tacoma? Also is there a video on changing the directionals and running lights in front? Why would anybody want to just change the headlights to LED?
Hey my friend so my tacoma is a 2018 but I’ve done a video on how to install fog light leds itshould be the same for 2019 here’s the link if you want to check it out ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-V6L0EokT1Rg.html
Anyone else out there having to change their headlights in a 2015 Tacoma about every 8-10 months? I have had to replace the bulbs in my girlfriends 2015 Tacoma twice in the last 18 months and I need to replace one again tomorrow. Anyone else having this problem, and know why this is happening?
Hi I was wondering what led replacement bulb i need for my 2015 Toyota Tacoma fog lights, to go along with the same color light that my head lights are. Thank You. H4 HB2 9003 7600LM LED Headlight Conversion Kit, Hi/Lo beam headlight bulbs, Dual Beam LED kits, 6000K Xenon White .
Bought those leds. The reflector lens in the headlight assembly weren't made for a bright led light, creates NOO beam pattern, blinds oncoming driver's and the low beams stay on when you turn the high beams on. Lasfit leds are a joke. GTR 2 lighting work perfectly with reflector and projector beams, including on lifted tacomas.
At 4:20 this is the absolute worst way to do this, I struggled for 30 min before moving to another video with an easier way because you won’t be able to close the pin easily. Insert the adapter first into the headlight enclosure, put the silver pin (no rubber grommet in the way) over it, THEN put the rubber grommet. Finally insert the led thru the hole, then twist to lock. Much less hassle.
I wish I can hook everyone up bro I have two more things do give away and then Ima hold off for a little on the giveaways lol, up next Ima give away a 3rd gen screen protector :) I’ll probably post that video up next week 👍, and so for the 3rd gen both fog lights and low beam headlights take an H11 led size
Chris G hey and they basically can both do the same thing almost same power just honestly depends on looks and a couple other little things but what’s your main concern? Or question
@@JesseRizo I just bought a 2015 tacoma 4x4 trd off road lightly used and got a crazy deal on it. Honestly, it feels outdated. The engine is strong though with the 4.0. I once test drove a 2019, but it was such a short drive I forgot what it felt like. Even though I got a deal on this mint 2015 with a free extended 100k mile warranty, I have a little bit of buyers remorse for not going with my gut and not getting a 2018/2019. My question is: Is the 3.5 liter that much weaker or do people in the forums exaggerate?
Chris G it’s not that it’s weaker it’s the transmission that sucks on them lol it’s really jerky and on freeway sometimes feels like it’s lost and doesn’t know what gear it should be and I gues people confuse that for power but i know that’s a big thing 3rd gen owners have always hated was the transmission supposibky ov tune fixes all that but now ur paying Almost I think $700 for something that should’ve been fixed from the manufacture but that’s mythought on that 🤔
@@JesseRizo a hood strut video to install on that truck, safer easier to lift and i could go on about how cool and things not to worry about them falling on head.
Tim Francis that’s certainly coming for this year hopefully lol I do need itcuz the hoods are heavy on this truck and especially for me being short lol
