Porsche invited me to drive the all new 2013 / 2014 Porsche 911 Turbo S ( 991 ) at the Bilster Berg Driving Resort with a group of other journalists. I was lucky enough to get a car for myself, so I could film this review for you. Just as special as driving the new Turbo was meeting my idol Walter Röhrl, who drove a new track-record with new Turbo S on this track during the event ...

I think this is easily my favourite sports car. Equally fast as the italians in the real world, none of the flashy stance and elegant looks, very good practicality and comfort for this kind of automobile and all weather usability. Thinking man's supercar.

I got a ride in an 14 Turbo S this past weekend at Autobahn County Club in Joliet Il. All I can say it AWESOME. It was the best car there by far.

Believe it or not, the coupe turbo s is much2 more faster than the 458 speciale.. as demonstrated on '300clubplus' youtube channel.

that launch technology of porsche is simply mind blowing, they managed to beat nissan gtr model of the year. and that feeling you mentioned in the video that makes you want to keep your hands on the steering, its the torque boost that comes as low as 2k RPM. as from a mechanical engineer point of view, thats genius!

exhaust, intake, chip tune and you have 800 hp and leave anything behind you. Can still drive it everyday. Perfect car imo.

Thanks buddy ! I think the GTR has a much harsher suspension, so it's not as good on public roads as the Turbo, but still a very impressive car...As a german guy and a well known Porsche-fan though. my choice would be the 911 for sure ;)

if i were rich i would take a 991 turbo s for everyday driving and the GT3 RS for weekends on the track and a Cayenne turbo S or Panamera turbo S for my wife and familly :p

Thanks Geoffrey ! Yes, the car is amazing and this launch event was just epic. Meeting my idol Walter Röhrl. driving the Turbo hard on track...I was extremly exhausted after this, trust me :) It's the kind of stuff that only journalists can experience and the reason why I started this channel three years ago. I love the Turbo S, and what it represents. The 992 CS is more than enough for roads, but the Turbo is just more alluring. Even if you can't fully utilize this car (you can't fully utilize most cars these days), there's just something about driving what could possibly be the most well engineered and all around best car in existence.

Finally spend some time in the TS. All I can say is that the review is spot on ... Love the sound (quiet at sub 2500, raw at mid end, and jet engine at full on). Now all other cars feel like buses :)

Great review! I appreciate your approach towards every vehicle. Very objective and thorough. Thanks! In my opinion, this is the best car out there considering what you get for the price. Looks amazing, can handle a lot with its AWD, has way too much power and isn't going to scrape on every bump around town.

wieder einmal hervorragende arbeit, Guido. ich kann dich schon gut verstehen, das auto muss einfach nur eine wucht sein. optisch finde ihn sehr gelungen, das ganze design sieht sehr stimmig aus, und endlich hört man auch mal richtig den sound, denn den habe ich doch sehr vermisst beim 997 Turbo...

Great review again Guido! :) I've recently driven the car and I was equally as amazed as you are I guess. It changed my mind and my mind made me change form a C4S order into a Turbo S order ;) You're completely right about the sound. It may be a bit less agressive than a C4S with PSE, but it sound just perfect for this car. Keep those great vids coming! I'm always looking forward to see new ones Greetings from die Schweiz ;)
