2018/19 Toyota Sequoia Platinum - Ol’ Reliable 

I just bought one because it is as dated as it is. It's a bulletproof 10 year old design. All the new eco crap is making the new cars unreliable. There's a million mile tundra with a 5.7 on RU-vid and I personally know a guy with a chevrolet 5.3 Silverado that is dying at 130k and a buddy with an ecoboost with turbos going out at 200k. I'll take the old dated tech that lasts and has bad gas mileage any day over the new stuff that breaks

My 2012 Ford expedition with highway miles died at 220k.... Never again it will be only Toyota's for me from now on, got one for my wife and my son. The Highlander and a Camry and a sequoia for myself.... very happy

YES! It's outdated! QRD! Quality, Reliability, and Durability! I'll take the Sequoia or LC anytime or any day over the domestic!

Honestly buying this vehicle brand new in 2018 is like going to Best Buy, and buy a 50in 720P HDTV in 2018 if there's still any available. It's not about " why fix it if it's not broken ", it's about improving it, not fixing it.

Yeah its a old design but all that new tech stuff is not that important to me. Thank God! Think about it the newest tech stuff gets old and then what people gonna do? Replace cars like cell phones! This truck have all my must haves tech.

That thing with the push button to the right of the shifter is another storage compartment.

There actually is more storage in the 2nd row center console I watched another video it’s a leather in the 3rd row on the bottom one the 2nd row center console

Also that "thing" you mentioned is a button to release the cover for that compartment. I implore you and all reviewers to have your due diligence inline. Meaning do your research before speaking about a vehicle. Makes the channel and reviewer look unprofessional as well as the appearance of the channel. Not trolling but I do watch a few auto channels. I personally enjoy very detailed reviews. More factual and accurate information the better. Leads towards trust, respect and subscriptions. Keep up the work. I really do enjoy your reviews. I find your pace and tone excellent.

What updates do you need in a vehicle if you got so much problem with the infotainment screen you can install aftermarket apple or android navigation Sequoia is now much beautiful than before,there are so many alternatives in the market like Nissan Armada,Chevy tahoe,Ford Expedition people can go for that there is need for updating the Sequoia,it looks much goodlooking in this refreshed headlights and backlights.

On the thing that I saw was that it is a storage pocket like you can place a umbrella go check out Saabkyle04

DOHC V8 32values per cyclinders engine not outdated. Others cars still push rod.

I'm beginning to like your reviews unfortunately like most auto reviews they didn't research enough about the cars they're reviewing. If people are looking for information on their next vehicle purchase (especially one that cost as much as this SUV) it would be in the best interest of both the person reviewing the car and for the person purchasing the car that you are as accurate as possible. Example, the second row console has tremendous space for storage. Lift the rear and you'll discover it turns into a small table (great when folding all the seats down so there's no "hump" protruding from the console) lift the divider and it reveals a deep storage space. In essence the second row center console is two tiered.

Nothing sounds as good as a naturally aspirated v8 engine.

Of course it will not kick you back in the seat as it weighs 3245 kg and does not rely on any garbage supercharger or turbocharger.Toyota,Nissan and Mercedes all the way my favourite.

Toyota has been using this engine for ten years,I don’t know people have problem with it escalade also uses a ancient 6.2 engine,Chevy tahoe also uses the old 5.3,they have only retuned the engines with more gears.I don’t know why everybody has a problem with Toyota 5.7.Except for Lincoln Navigator and Ford Expedition uses a turbo aided crap v6 engine.

The amount of money you save on repairs will more than enough pay for the extra gas mileage

It needs nothing actually. They sell enough of them to people who want large, powerful and RELIABLE in this category. The day they change it they will likely sell more but we all will be worse off as the heritage of it will be lost forever. We will be left with a sub-par product like in most other car lineups.

Good engine but the rest of the vehicle is outdated, id take a yukon and expedition over a sequoia.
