@@BenBensen293 I own a Mazda 3 since october 2019. I won't talk about Mazda in general, but the Mazda 3 gen 4, top trim with sky X only. And since that comment, I got new small noises in the interior. So yeah, it looks nice but it doesn't hold the test of time.

For real. I'd rather drive this beauty than an audi, bmw or Mercedes.

Such a beautiful car with "real" and atmospheric engine; everybody gets excited about 1.0 or 1.4/1.5 turbo engines with 3 cylinders, sounding like a crappy grass cutter whilst here you can feel the real power, real torque and fantastic smoothness of the engine's work, not achievable by downsized constructions. Respect for Mazda!

@@PaulA-zp7hn Nope, definitely Japan. When I was looking at a Mazda 6 at the dealer in Germany it still had the shipping and production labels from the Hiroshima factory on it. European Mazdas all come from JP.

I am in the states and checked my Vin and my 2.5l 3 sedan was made in Japan.

6th gear isn't particularily long, this engine just doesn;t have enough torque to accelerate.

Boi, you'd better go watching videos about this engine before you go saying dumb stuff like that.

@@robertofalero02 It turns out that the original uploader might have the skyactiv x. They're just not available in america because Mazda is convinced that nobody in the US cares about fuel efficiency. What absolute nonsense. I'm a DoorDasher and I want this car so bad.

Da könnte noch mehr gehen. Der X-180 wird sehr beschnitten. Wahrscheinlich brauch er wie die G-165 und G192 minds. 10k Km bis er richtig eingefahren ist. So war es bei meinem 6er auch. Nach den 10k ging er viel besser.

@@sebastianwolf4170 Also, Ich finde den Wagen echt schick, und hab mir ernsthaft überlegt ihn zu kaufen. Der einzigste Grund, warum ich ihn letztes Jahr nicht gekauft habe, war.... Der zieht koi Wurst vom Brot weg, Echt schade, und der gefällt wirklich, aber mein Alltagsauto ist immer noch schneller..

@@Andreas-yd8ve Das eine hat mit dem anderen nichts zu tun. Das eine ist die Art wie die Luft angesaugt wird und das andere wie der Kraftstoff eingespritzt wird. In dem Fall ist es ein Sauger mit Direkteinspritzung. Gibt aber auch Sauger mit Saugrohreinspritzung oder Turbomotoren mit Saugrohr- oder Direkteinspritzung. 😊

@@alexlex7633 Eso no es cierto, yo tengo el mazda 3 de 2 litros skyactivg y le he sacado 205, probablemente llegue hasta 210. Este debería andar hasta unos 220-225 km/hr

The engine is sadly pretty noisy between 2000 and 3000 rpm even when you lift the gas off. The noise itself is pretty buzzing/resonating which makes it unpleasant and you can hear it all the time on the highway because 120km/h is 2600rpm and 140km/h is 3000rpm.

@@sic22l that's just the nature of a N/a engine my man. No turbo in the exhaust to muffle it down. Just a classic 4 banger as it was supposed to be

@@sic22l 8.2 s to 100km/h is a good time for a NA 2.0 engine.

@@silimarina. It gets that time when you rev the engine above 5000 rpm, that's not what you do in your daily driving. It's very anemic below 4000-4500 rpm meanwhile its turbocharged competition pulls like a tank between 2000 and 3000 rpm which is much nicer for everyday use.

Ich habe mir auch den Mazda 3 Skyactiv X bestellt, nachdem ich ihn Probegefahren bin. Es ist einfach ein top Auto und ich finde die Leistung auch vollkommen ausreichend für den Alltag und vor allem für die Autobahn. Vor allem denke ich einfach auch, dass der Motor wesentlich robuster und langlebiger als so ein 1,5l Turbo ist. Leider bekomme ich ihn erst Anfang März :(

Mei er braucht halt Drehzahl fürs Drehmoment. Dafür haste ne lineare powerentwicklung, kein turboloch und keinen Leistungsabfall im hohen drehzahlbereich.

Leute, es ist einfach ein Opa mobil. Sieht gut aus aber mein Golf VI mit 122 ps geht flotter, also echt jetzt...

@@Sim-903 Jo aber was brings dir wenns eh irgendwann nicht mehr erlaubt ist. Die ersten Gänge gehen flott und ich habe kein Problem beim Überholen. Auf Landstraßen den 3. Gang rein und bis 6000 drehen - kein Problem.

im grossen und ganzen war der mazda 3 leiser als seine Konkurrenten. Als autonatik sind wir den mazda 3 leider nicht gefahren

@@cristianmuresan5952 Does depend on the version. This one I believe does have a supercharger, but the newer e-Skyactiv X does not I believe, instead it's a mild hybrid with a little motor. The compression ratio is lower too with the new one, but the overall power is slightly higher.

You can get a stick in the US, but only in the hatchback not the sedan.

Its a digital speedo and the car recognizes the current speed limit showing it to you on the speedo. The red line shows how much youre above the speed limit.

I would also love to have a higher performance version. 186 hp is just about enough but torque is severely lacking compared to turbo engines. A deal breaker to me.

I also ordered a sedan, I heard a couple people(people at Mazda too) saying that the sedan is more grippy, better in the corners. Other than that, they are pretty much the same.

No. It is a naturally aspirated engine so no lag at all.

The auto is decent, but Mazda integrates excellent manuals. I'd never buy an auto in a Mazda hatch, why lose out on the fun of the great manual?

Sadly for the prize of the Turbo You can get a SEAT León CUPRA which has better performance however the mazda 3 could be more of a touring car

@@MrDaftJustice if we speak about new or nearly new versions, I haven't seen any cupra comparable. My Girlfriend got a Mazda 2 and I'm still on search for a car... looked up the Mazda 3 shown in the video, I had the chance to get a full version for about 19k.. no cupra came near that

Nur bei höheren Geschwindigkeiten. Im vergleich zum E Skyactive ist, ist der Sprung deutlich höher.

You don't have the same one, you have skyactiv g this is skyactiv x

They are easy to tune, I had a 2015 skyactiv g sport nav 165hp and the only difference was a remap to the ecu which was done at the factory as standard, there are many independent tuners that could do that for your car for not much money, it just needs the ecu tweaking it would only take an hour or so.

The engine noise could also be a bit quieter below 3000 rpm. It's pretty tiring becasue you can hear the engine buzzing pretty much all the time while travelling at 120-140km/h (it actually resonates more at 120 than 140).

Ich bin auf den Mazda 3 scharf in Rot ❤ sieht einfach Top aus, und bringt auch ne schöne Ausstattung mit. HUD, Bose Sound usw.....die Preise sind auch gut.

@@lovelybeard3596 naja mit dem preis bin ich nicht ganz bei dir. Einen komplett mit volle hütte, allen extras und automatik kriegst du nicht unter 35000 konfiguriert. Ich hab 2017 das 2014er modell für gerade mal 16000€ gekauft, genauso volle hütte mit allen extras und gerade mal 20000km. Bei dem neuen hier muss man leider auch noch etwas warten

Und so viel mehr neue Ausstattung hat der im vergleich zum alten auch nicht was den Preis rechtfertigen würde! Ich weiß zwar was du meinst, aber für einen Mazda 3 ist das definitiv viel zu viel Geld, dann lieber einen Mazda 6 als Jahreswagen nehmen, der wird nämlich das gleiche kosten.

Well, Mazda's hybrid is not a full hybrid. As an auto maker, you are allowed to market your cars as hybrid, even though most of them are mild hybrid (lowest level of hybrid). If a car is mild hybrid, it means that it is equipped with a little electric motor/generator that takes off some of the load on the battery and alternator. Basically, your starter and all of the other electrics on the car (lights, A/C etc.) are partially powered by that little generator, so you don't have to burn fuel to supply them. It's called hybrid, but it's not a true hybrid. It's just the cheapest trick to call your products hybrid.

Ist ja ohne turbo, deswegen sauger aber dafür hat er schöne gleichmässige beschleunigungsgefühl als mit turbo mit boost gefühl. Und bei 220 ist er abgeregelt.

In the states the Mazda 3 with the 2.0 is 20k base price. I bought the 2.5 select package for 22,500.

Mazda was produced in Thailand but it was between 30k-40k usd
