Thank you vw for giving us a 10 year old car. Sell it for an additional 15 years so that we could celebrate 25th anniversary of the polo and vento.

The graphics are so rubbish ....looks like the one on the Omni van

This is a very good car, but it is dated and old and is going to get replaced with all new mqb ao in platform based new vento, so no point in purchasing this car now, as new vento is launching next year .

It's 2050 and VW is still selling facelift version of vento and polo

VW is treating like a dumping ground by relaunching 4 year old car. These so called models have been discontinued 3-4 years ago in other countries

Good review Saumil. Any difference in engine tuning or gear ratios in comparison to the Rapid? Can't wait for the review of the AT. As exciting this new engine gets, the irony is that this platform has a very short lifespan in India. The new Virtus platform which is AN01IN essentially is due in 2021.

Hi Sir, Sir I am planning to Buy VW polo Mpi trendline petrol 1.0 ltr varient,I am from Hyderabad this varient has onroad price around 7 lakhs,I contacted some of the VW dealers they are giving price discounts around 70k to 80k rupees on onroad price,I am getting it in 6.2 lakh only,sir I am very much confused that is this varient is under power, this is will be my first family car,I drive below 500 kms in a month most of my driving will be in city and sometimes in highway,my height is 5 feet 9 inch ,I drive with family of 2 elder members,please help in picking right choice.

I am a fan of VW cars and also drive one. But the current versions of polo and vento are too outdated. They must go now. Wait for mqb platform cars.

VW cars built quality is good, unfortunately their model since past more than 10 year, is some what similar. Honda city interior is far better but their body is not so strong as VW or skoda. VW please learn and introduce new models to India. I was working out side country in Europe there seen many new models on road like polo and different version of sedans. Second point I do not know why cost is so high if it is made locally i.e. in India. Prices in Germany is also not so high for new model polo, then why are making so costly in India ?? Please do some thing else before packaging your company from India as sales are very worst. Please Introduce new models as soon as possible.

This car would need to be revved high to be enjoyed for what it offers. That reduces its fuel efficiency and increases component wear & tear. VW service experience and costs are usually listed in the cons section of reviews. Its a car good to be rented amd enjoyed but not owned and lived with.

The previous facelift made the car look better now they have ruined it although one might ask what is there to ruin anymore in already a decade old car and interior looks very dated. VW India desperately need new Polo and Vento.

Don't know what has happened with Volkswagen!! I like these Polo n Vento cars too much but how can they still run without any upgrade!! From design to basic features, they are still lagging behind!!

I would go for a honda city... Not a fan of turbo lag in stop go traffic (prefer gear ratio of honda city), and I dont want to pay 10+ lakhs for a car designed in 2010.... Plus city is more reliable, cheaper spares nd ya has better resale value

Vw really need to work for Indian edition vehicles... I really not impressed by any 2020 vehicles from VW for india.. Only from engine and safety side, It's just ok.. VW having a great future in indian market... Don't knw why they are scrooging in spec, tech etc

I own a 2016 Polo TDI. VW cars are really good to drive and have excellent build quality. But they are too outdated today with 10 year old platforms and design. VW have to bring new age models in India. Let’s see.

What is VW doing with the Exterior design, I mean they updated it in 2015 by giving some grills making it look more royal & mature. Now they seem going back to 2012 design. VW what are you upto ? We need a big time uplift for Vento & you are moving back in time....
