This is my 2022 Chevy Silverado 3500HD Duramax LT trim and has the power up and down tail gate. I learned a few new features of the tail gate today that I didn't know it had.

@@Myksgarage coming from a 1500 is definitely a big change. This is my first diesel and I don’t regret the decision. Trailering my food truck is amazing. I actually enjoy trailering now lol. I was also shocked when I saw your video.

Very helpful video. I was wondering how this would work with a fifth wheel camper, since sometimes you to have to hook up at an angle and manually move the tailgate. Good to know that’s still possible.

Thanks for the videos. I got excited when I saw the title, as I thought I was doing something wrong. Apparently the 2022 High Country is not equipped with the auto-up feature (at least mine is not. Weird.)? The button inside the cab has a down arrow only. I've tried everything to get it to go back up and nothing happens. You have to exit the truck and close it manually. You can't even lift the tailgate slightly and have it close the rest of the way. Also, the key fob does nothing but put the tailgate down. Why would Chevrolet put a feature on the lower trim levels and not the highest trim level? Seems odd to me but o well. I guess I'll just have to be a man and do it old school lol.

Seeing on the other video have trailers. Have you thought about adding the tire monitor system to the trailer so you can keep an eye on the trailer pressure?

I didn't think of adding that. I check the pressure manually every time I use it.

It all depends on what trim level you have . I have a 2024 gmc seirra SLE 2500 hd. It does not have up function in the cab or remote I can let down in cab or remote but that’s it

Nice video. I noticed your truck doesn't have that annoying buzzer for the tailgate like on my 2023 Chevy 1500 whenever I lower the tailgate. Do you know how I could turn off that buzzer?

Ya the multiflex tailgate doesn’t go up automatically. Big reason I didn’t get that option.

I would trade all of it for a regular handle to manually open. It freezes in the cold and sucks and you cant open it. Left me stranded at a customers house with a snowblower in the back and couldnt get it out.
