Many people wish that disasters could be predicted because then they could possibly be stopped. Or at the very least, we can be prepared for them. The people in this video foresaw something terrible happening, and tried to warn people. But, were they taken seriously?

Yeah the airplane disaster in Chicago in 1979. The camera crew just happened to be at the airport to film something else when they caught that disaster as it was happening on film. And the one picture frame you can actually see the hydraulic fluid pouring out of the wing. As the plane banks to the left.

My late husband was very near O'Hare Airport and the crash site. He told me that somehow either the pilot or God or the fates put that plane down in a place that the interstate highway and massive fuel storage tanks were missed. This is, of course, in no way denigrating the memory of those on the plane and on the ground who died. It was just a horrible and avoidable incident, which is inexcusable.

I used to live in the trailer park that is there when I was around 5. That area is super haunted, I wasn't old enough to see the crash, but my mom told me that I would talk about "bloody people asking for help because their airplane had just crashed". There are phantom knocks on the door, and a lot of other unexplained activity.

My former boss (attorney, had been an IL state trooper) was the very first responder on scene at the Flight 191. He was tough, but he was haunted by what he saw that day. There was nowhere anyone could walk without stepping on human remains.

Oh my, I remember Flight 191 in 1979. It was so horrible. To think the writer Ms. Judith Wax wrote about her fear of flying and the expression of it landed on pg. 191 in the first addition. How very predictive of her, and Lindsay Wagner. I really feel now as I did then, so vary sad. Such tragedy for all of those people and families. I prayed, and prayed for all involved.

I've watched many videos on the flight 191 disaster and this is the first time I got serious chills with the information about Judith Wax. When you said her quote was on page 191 I got some serious chills. And the photo of that poor man breaking down after the crash and blaming himself was so heartbreaking. I hope he was able to live a long happy life without guilt knowing he did everything he could to try to stop the crash from happening.

I think when a large group of people die so dramatically and instantaneously the souls linger because they're not entirely sure they are dead. The amount of residual energy from so many souls may create a bright sticking point so its harder for them to see the light they need to go to.

Unfortunately even if the guy could have described the plane correctly I don’t think it would have prevented the crash…The crash was due to poor/cheap maintenance practices that made for tiny cracks to form in the wing of the plane where the engine was held. So eventually overtime with take offs and landings this made the cracks worse causing more stress on the wing. The entire engine literally flew off taking the hydraulic system with it (planes can normally fly with 1 functioning engine) but once the hydraulic system is gone the pilot cannot control the plane. It wasn’t until this unfortunate crash that it was discovered about this poor maintenance practice that was being done and actually made for other DC-10s to be grounded & checked for cracks also…most major changes in aviation come at the cost of lives so very sadly…
@micheleshively8557
@micheleshively8557 2 года назад
Yes it was maintenance that had been performed wrongly. They were supposed to take the parts off all separately but used a forklift to remove the whole engine instead, causing the crack I believe from the forklift making contact with the airplane.

I'll be completely honest, I've had dreams too of plane crashes. Had 2 I distinctly remember last year. One of a plane falling in slow motion into its belly and exploding into a plume, sending freight crates hurling into the air. Another of a plane trailing with fire and then exploding in mid air over some apartment buildings.
@GLASSB182
@GLASSB182 2 года назад
@@stevenedwards8353 I haven't looked into actually. And I hope they hadn't happen and won't. But to be fair, the planes weren't the main focus in my dreams, it always happened in the center of an overall dream. I'd say the first dream was the most intense because when the crates were flying in the air they were heading toward me and group of people. We all rush back into this school building and could hear the metal crates crashing onto the buildings and else where. Much earlier in the dream there was a crazy wind like the start of a hurricane. And after the plane/crates event, these men drove up with guns to this old house I was staying in, trying to hush these dogs I seemed to own. Haha, long comment, sorry. (Had these dreams written down, fyi)

I only exist, at least in this body, and life, because of the gift that runs in both sides of my family! And was particularly strong amongst previous generations! Such as my great grandma! When my father and his siblings were little, like around toddler- preschool age, my grandparents had bought land and a home, about 10-20 minutes of a drive, from my great grandparents'house! On weekends, or days where there were appointments, my grandma would drive up the road to her parent's house, and then she would often let my great grandma babysit, which she enjoyed, and my great grandpa, would drive her in to the city! She was a new driver, with small kids, so she wasn't confident enough to drive in to the city, if it could be helped! So, she had to do some grocery shopping! And maybe see a doctor, I don't recall! However! She had asked my great grandma if she would be watching the kids that day, while her and my great grandpa were off running errands? Or if they needed to take them along? Great grandma said that she was in the middle of Spring Cleaning, so she'd watch the kids if needed! However, she preferred to be able to finish her work, without interruptions! Which was fine! Of course! So! She drove up the road, got there, and her, and my great grandpa, my dad, aunt and uncle, we're headed out the door, when my great grandma yelled for them to stop ! She suddenly insisted that the kids be left with her! She said that she had "a burden" fall on her heart! And that she knew that something bad was likely going to happen that day! On that trip, specifically! And that she didn't want the kids there for whatever was going to happen! We take such things seriously, with our family history, and things that we have seen and experienced ourselves! Things that many would have a hard time believing! In any event, my grandma agreed to let my great grandma watch the children, and so they left! They made it about a mile up the road, before a large car, that was speeding well over the speed limit, ran it's red light, and T-bined my great grandpa's car! My grandma was thrown out the windshield! A huge part of her scalp was torn off, and visibly hanging from a glass shard, on what remained of the windshield! And this was the late 60s, or early 70s! Back in the time where most people didn't wear their seat belts! Nor did they put their kids in car seats, or even in seat belts! Small kids would often just bounce around and do whatever, in the back seat!! My dad and his siblings were usually standing in the back seat, singing, jumping around ,and doing whatever kept them amused! Had the kids been in the car, the odds are very high that they'd all three have sustained severe injuries! If not worse! And that is one of several times that my parents nearly ended up being hurt to the extent that they might have been left totally disabled, or worse! On top of the close calls that I had myself, about as soon as I was born! So! Whenever I get down, or feel lost in life, I remind myself, that it's been made abundantly clear to me, that God has made moves to protect me, and my loved ones! Specifically my parents! And that must mean that I have a purpose! Beyond the purpose that I already know! Take some good advice, everyone! If your instincts or intuition is warning you if a person, or of a plan, then listen to that! No matter how crazy it might look or sound!!!

On the morning of 9/24/72, I was not quite 10, and the youngest of a family of 5, sitting at our table, eating breakfast. We were talking about our plans for the day, which included an air show at Executive airport in Sacramento CA. I was suddenly hit with the most powerful sense of dread and the knowledge that we couldn't go. I didn't know why; I was not specifically warned away, as it were; I just knew that we weren't supposed to go. So I told my mom, and she believed me, and spoke to my dad. We ended up going to our great grandma's house instead, which was where we spent a lifetime of Sundays, growing up. And this happened to have been my sister's birthday. We were driving back to my grandma's from the store when the news came on the radio, that a plane had failed to take off, and hit the Farrell's restaurant across the street, and burst into flames. 22 people died, most of them in the "birthday room". It's nearly 50 years now, and I still wish I could have done something more than save my own family. It's been a weight on my shoulders, all my life.

AA 191 crashed not because they lost the number 1 engine (due to a work around by maintenance that was not approved by mcdonnell douglas, which two other operators of DC10s were using) but because the pilots didnt know the plane was stalling. They followed the procedure for losing an engine at take off not for an aerodynamic stall. The warnings' power came from the left engine, so the warnings didnt go off. Had they known the plane was stalling (due to the left wing slats retracting) they couldve recovered. and when you said Judith Wax's passage was on page 191 of her book I got the chills.

When I was young, I was discussing with my father a high school friend of his that he hadn't seen in 25 years. They grew up 1500 miles from where we lived. I opened the paper to see a story about the friend! He had been living 30 miles away and he and his wife had gotten into a spot of trouble with the federal authorities (Smuggling). Then, the phone rang and my father answered it. He talked to the caller for a few minutes and had gotten a very peculiar look on his face. He then handed to me and it was a call from the local university I had applied to. When I got off the phone, he explained that in the course of making small talk with the young lady, he discovered she was the daughter of the friend. We had never discussed his friend prior to that conversation about his service in Vietnam. We were both totally weirded out by the synchronicity of that event.

I had 911 predictive dreams too - at least, I think they were that. I saw myself in New Jersey looking across the water to the Manhattan skyline (watching along with several others) and seeing the sky going from bright blue to dark several times - almost like a strobe light. I watched in stunned silence, but the folks around me were very agitated over what we all saw, and it all felt like it was somewhat outer-worldly. I have been keeping a dream journal (on and off) for about 30 years and I wrote this down at the time. It kind of creeps me out when I re-read what I wrote back then - this was about 10 days before that awful happening.

I just want to account for the agony and helplessness of experiencing a vision like this, questioning your own sanity, not really being able to say anything....and WAITING. Several years ago I had a very clear vision, like a movie, of my sister in law getting in a car accident and suddenly everything was in slow motion, it really looked like she broke her neck and everything went black. I was sure that meant that she died. I told my parents...I had no idea what to do. I couldn't tell her not to drive ever again or what was bothering me so much. I'd never had a vision of the future before so I didn't know if it meant anything. 1 year and 10 months later my mom called me. My sister in law got in a car accident and badly hurt her neck but was going to be OKAY. I could finally be around her again and not be on the verge of tears. My heart just breaks for David for the way he blames himself for not being able to get enough information about the plane's model. I just can't imagine...he did EVERYTHING he could.

I honestly remember that Flight 191. It shocked everyone in Chicago, where I'm from. I feel horrible for David Booth, because he blamed himself for many, many, many years after the crash. It's quite easy to mix up the style of planes, if you're not familiar with them. I just hope that he's doing well, and came to realize that it wasn't his fault. My husband can attest to this: after 9/11 happened, I was taking a nap because I was having a pretty bad migraine episode. My husband was at work. He had called home to see if I had needed anything after he got off work, but he heard, in my voice, I was panicking. He asked me what was wrong, and I told him that there was this Middle Eastern man that was wearing a blue turban, white shirt with stripes, and slacks of some kind, and he had an explosive in his shoe. My husband told me to call the FBI and tell them that, but I was a bit scared, because I didn't want to look like a crazy woman, but he convinced me to call them, which I had. Long story short, the man was about to board a plane with an explosive device that was in the sole of his shoes, and he was wearing exactly what I had described. When we were watching the news to see if they had caught the guy, we were happy that he was caught. Since I didn't give the FBI my name, it was just reported that a tip was called to the FBI. That's the way that I liked it.

A young girl that was killed on the ground from this crash has supposedly been reincarnated. The documentary was on LMN network. Those poor people on the plane, though. I can't even imagine. 💔 May all their souls be resting in peace. 🙏🕊️

I actually believe every one has a predetermined death date..that is why miracles happen and sometimes its " he was to young. Or " she never should have been there but was and was killed"...I. Believe the universe, God , something is going to make sure that that date is met or death is avoided if " its not ur time". Why do u think there are some people who survive suicide attempts , some.people.multiple attempts. This theory will help people deal with death..if ur afraid or maybe lost someone. I also believe that very very rarely someone survives when they should have been dead....but what I believe is more common, but still very very rare, is someone dies when they weren't supposed too..and in that case. I believe that is when hauntings occur or strange paranormal events surrounding the persons life.and loved ones they just left
