Thought about getting the Z1 fuel port but this one alot shorter but it's out of stock. It's funny you could hear a VQ driving by in the background

do you know what that beep sound is or is that normal when turning the key in on position?

Yes you did pinch the oring that's why you put oil on the oring before putting it in.

@@danfrancis7258 I was not but I know Z's suffer from fuel starvation issues and thought this would be a easy way to diagnose it in the future while giving the engine bay a slight upgrade.

Wow, nice video. Whats the reasons did you install this? Did you have starting issue before installing? Im asking cause I had these random shut down after starting. I want to measure the fuel pressure. This might help. I'm a bit concerned that part is plastic amd easy to bend.. Any issues when the car gets hot? Thanks , again great video

Thank you ! And these cars are know to get fuel cut or the top hat to break in the fuel tank so I wanted to be able to monitor my fuel pressure and make sure the fuel pump is working it helped diagnose a lot faster if I know when I don't and when I do have fuel pressure.

@@DriftGeek subscribed! Ill get one installed. I had issue starting, and luckily the warranty replaced the pump. But i feel all these OEM pumps are garbage.

@@TheRajmoney it's not necessarily the pump but the top hat bracket for the pump. Those break very easily.

Your video was well made layout explaining the CJ Motorsports fuel pressure kit. I just recently installed this on my 370z, not able to download the instructions of the CJ Motorsports I followed your video. Everything went well with my install but my fuel pressure was reading at 62 psi at idle and after turning the car off then waiting 30 minutes it looks like the pressure is down at 31 psi. What do you think could be possible causes of this?

Thanks for the support and kind words. I would check to make sure there are no leaks.aroijd the adapter and regulator. Let me know if that helps.

Thank you for reaching back @@DriftGeek no leaks were found so I allowed the Z to run for a good 30 mins and realized the motor hadn't reached proper temp which was the cause. The fuel pressure now reads a perfect 52 psi at idle.

If pressure is good when on and off but over night when u come check it later & there is gas moisture around the port is that normal?

That hasn't happened to me. Is your car parked inside or outside?

@@DriftGeek I wonder also but I feel it and it smells like gas maybe I need to tighten it more ? Idk 🤷🏻‍♂️ it’s weird pressure is good no issues other then that

@@chachakeepit1hunnit996 after given it some thought I'm thinking when there's pressure it seals up good but after the pressure start to drop slowly from it being off for a while it might start to have a small leak. Very small where only the most from the fuel can come out. I would tighten it up a little more and see if that works. If it doesn't take it out and check the o ring I pinched mine the first time I installed and leaked.
