NEW official page: skyenterprises.co/sky-univers... Best of luck with learning your first handstand! Be patient, train smart & you will make it happen! =)
Thanks for great tips, gotta try them out! For those who're going to revisit the video: 2:40 balance in chest-to-wall hs 4:20 scissors in chest-to-wall hs 5:40 scissors in back-to-wall hs 6:10 balance in back-to-wall hs 7:10 scissor kick ups 10:00 headstand
Oh heck yes. I have been doing chest to wall for months, can do chest to wall HSPU, and still can't even come close to freestanding. Looking forward to trying these things! Thanks.
If you think these videos are great, you should see his course. I am starting week 3 tomorrow and I have already made good strides with my core strength. I will get the handstand pushup and front lever this year.
@@kungfuman82 I suffered a 20% distal bicep rupture last July, so that set me back, but I can do a bent knee front lever and I can do handstand pushup against the wall.
Hi Dominik, great content as always, thank you a lot. Any advice on wrist pain in the pinky side? I hurt it years ago and it pops and hurts a lot, doctor said he doesn't know how to fix it. I'm guessing if I strengthen it then it would feel better? Any very light and easy wrist exercises from someone who had a similar problem and fixed it? Knuckle pushups don't bother it and regular ones are ok as well. Dips I have to be careful but stuff like clapping pushups or archer pushups are pretty hard on it. So far I've just been taping it up and trying to not push it too much but I want to start learning handstands.
Hello Dominic, I love your videos very much. I practice according to which of your tutorials. I just want to include bridges in the training. Just don't know when :-). Do you also practice bridges in training? Petr
Hey, Dominik, great video, great channel. I think you should make more video's for shoulders flexibility and mobility, how to develop stronger shoulders because in my opinion it's not easy to train that muscles only with bodyweight and not hurt yourself. Keep good work. Pozdrav iz hrvatske :)
can you make a tutorial on the ring grip pushup and how to learn it. I'm currently working on partials with a box. I wonder what the best way to learn it is
Wow Dominic! The first second of the video I noticed you were wearing a Burningate Calisthenics Shirt, does this mean there will be a collaboration between the Team Burningate? Or probably with Andrea Larosa? Anyway, really great timing Dominic cause I am having difficulty holding the handstand through Handstand kick-ups. Im pretty sure this would help me a lot. Thanks Bro!
Can you do a video on bent arm press to handstand as a an alternative progression? I cant handstand yet but I discovered I was strong enough to go from tuck planche to a bent arm press I had the wall to catch me for the final part since I cant balance but could this be another way to get the handstand
Convict conditioning 2 details 8 simple progressions to achieving the Flag. An excellent book for comprehensive calisthenic strength and an equally powerful mindset.
I saw the improving video. But should i do like 5 different forms or how many? Or i focus on every session different position like straddle, Diamond etc?
I usually do about 5 different positions for about 5-8sets per position. But depends on the current level and skill set. No general rule here simply do as much as you can and try to have fun during the process =)
You said keep arms straight but they looked locked... do they lock? or just fullllly extend once you're balanced... i can balance there for a long time.. but i keep injuring my same elbow in the same space underneath.. i may have blown it out during muscle up practice... then took a break and now notice everytime i lock my elbow it aches really bad for a while and need rest.. reseting all progress... help!? locked unlocked? rotation? thanks for everything you do
For all those people wanting to learn a Handstand, it's simple instead of practicing your handstands just don't; it's useless for a majority of a people because you cannot numerically guage your progress which demotivates most of us. So this is how I learned it. Quit practicing handstands and first try to achieve to military press your own bodyweight. A military press not an overhead press. If you try learning dominik's way I guarantee 90% of you all will never achieve it.
Be damned careful trying that headstand nonsense. That's how people seriously injure themselves. The rest of the video is great, but that bit totally put me off it.
I've set myself the goal to master 3 free handstand push ups within 30 days. I have decent shoulder strength but I can only hold the handstand for a couple of seconds right now. Would this be possible?
