Darn I was just going to add some live plants to my listing. And I offer 1 night bookings. I have one this weekend and I see what you mean about them messing up your calendar. 😑 I guess I’ll go change mine to 2 nights..... Thanks for the tips!!

I recommend getting fake ones! They’re a little more but they look great and you don’t have to worry about them dying on you. I’ve been messing with my pricing and calendar a lot, the two night minimum has helped with getting booked longer! Always be sure do what works in your area!

Sorry typo individual creamer. You can buy them in bulk fairly cheap at your big box storesLike Sam’s club gives you the option to try different varieties. In some of my listings I try to incorporate flavors according to what holidays are in season.

If someone books a full week, how often do you do the cleaning and is the cleaning fee per night or just once per week?

I will only clean once they check out. I never go there during their stay. So the cleaning fee is charged per booking, it is a one time fee. If a guest books one night or 12 nights they are still paying the one time cleaning fee of $90!

then another guy says the opposite, going with shorter bookings helped him increase business, I think each case and market is different. Need to figure out what works for you.

great inshgts - but..."set a cleaning fee a little higher". You have a $25 a nighter, and you decide to have a $90 cleaning fee and it didnt change your booking flow? I dont think so....thats crickets....I find that impossible to believe. Double check the stats on that..

I don’t ever do $25 a night, I have a two night minimum stay so the nightly rate is always higher than the cleaning fee. You should try it during peak season it will change the game. Our cleaning fee is $50 now

I have to outsource reading reviews, or ignore. Unreasonable critical unfair reviews, like a creamer review, upsets me so much, I would basically search out that guest and confront em.
