@@Skippy-id9yt Reggie never got a ring. Pacers made it to the 2000 Finals with him but never won a NBA Championship - and he's WAY too late to have been part of their 3 ABA Championship teams (he was in kindergarten or grade school when THOSE happened).
There are a 100 podcasts and YT channels that talk about basketball with former players and breakdowns. But I agree, this was special because you got these guys together.
Really?? You grew up during the time of Michael Jordan and then thru Kobe Bryant and you're just NOW developing a love for basketball? That's cool. But, if I may ask, how did that ever happen?
I know this has been said a million times, but I can never get over what a large person Shaq is. Reggie Miller is 6'7". Looks like a little boy next to Shaq.
He DID coach for a while. I've never entirely figured out if I should love him for his IU days, hate him for his Bad Boys days, or like him for his Pacer coaching days....
Such great chemistry with these Guys who played during the same era! Young Grant Hill was unstoppable! Great to learn some knowledge from these basketball 🏀 icons! ✊🏽✊🏽✊🏽✊🏽
I can watch this forever... Man, the NBA got me through my formative years and adult life... shout out to the Doc. andrew toney,Bobby jones.... I love this game!!
Barry is super chill & seems relaxed could be a great candidate to take over for Ernie when he retires, then other guy Adam is great too he’s really come around 💯. All that aside I regularly come back to this video, love this show & especially this episode.
I think given the nature of this episode, Bones is a more appropriate host than EJ would have been because he can chime in with a little more insight and knowledge than EJ may have been able to.
Most people don't remember how good Grant Hill was because of the injuries. If he stayed healthy, he'd have as many rings as Kobe no doubt. That crossover of his was so smooth and quick, he just made defenders look silly. What a player he was.
It really is a thinking man's game. This was a great episode and shows that it takes great skills and a few sneaky, physical moves, but it also takes knowledge of the game and reading the floor. At the end of the day, these grown men are still like kids on the playground.
Dude i wish these were aroind when i was younger. I always liked playing basketball but never learned the ins amd outs of the game. These really teach how and why you do something
Imagine this lineup playing today PG: Isiah Thomas SG: Reggie Miller SF: Steve Smith, Brent Barry, or Dennis Scott PF: Grant Hill C: Shaq It’s over for the league with this 😂
I like love this, they need to bring this show back. It was so cute at the end, Shaq made the free throw so they wouldn't have to run suicides. They were all excited like he hit the game winner. too cute lol
I'll never forget the first game Steve Smith played against Atlanta after getting traded to Portland, Portland had the game won, yet Steve shot a 3 pointer at the buzzer as a sign of F U to Atlanta. That was memorable
