All-New Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS - Global Reveal 

Honestly with how they price their street triple R, it's amazing how they cna be premium yet deliver value for money, the Japanese should take note that they still can make exciting things with a competitive price.

This bike should be named Street Triple 1200, it's completely differrent from the previous generations, it's no longer a Speed Triple, completely different character and it resembles much more the true definition of a Naked, wich is a Super Sport without fairings, and that's not what I want in a modern Naked. It used to be unique, but now it's closer to a GSX-S1000A or S1000R, what a shame. Looking at the numbers and the claimed characteristics, I'd rather ride a 515NJ. Of course I can only confirm that once I ride the new one.

Where in india cud u ride it.. my street triple hasn't seen more than 7k rpm in most conditions.. light or max max mid weight adv tourer is what one needs here

Doubt it. 1290 SDR is a torque street monster and should eat this for lunch if you have the balls to try. I am your huckleberry when you are ready though.

I agree Luke. I have been holding on to my 17 S1000R hoping they brought out a worthy rival to the StreetFighter V4S, and by worthy rival I mean aesthetics, character and performance. It looks like a Honda crossed with an F900, seems to have no more character than my current bike (which is good but no rival for the SFV4S or Tuono) and is not SF or Tuono quick. The new Speed Triple seems to have the aesthetics and character edge, and I reckon it will be somewhere between the new s1000r and the SF in performance but without the roast testicle issue. I am looking forward to a long test ride on the new Speed

@@brianglendenning1632 Sold my 2017 S1000R, which was a fun bike. Never considered a 2021 S1000R, way too boring. The Triumph dealer didn't provide any information on Speed Triple availability, so I went ahead and bought a 2021 V4 Factory. What a beautiful machine! Delivery will be next week :-)

Triumph is more than a company, it's a history! And you are right - history, that has been moved abroad...

It's going to have nearly 50% more BHP, and 50% more torque, and it's only around 12kg heavier on wet weights (Street Trip is 168Kg dry, this is 198Kg wet. So Street Trip. is about 186 Kg ish wet, assuming 18kg for fuel, coolant, and oil )

Don't expect best possible colors on a new modell, that will come maybe next or in some years.

Tank is tiny too...4.1 gallons or 15.5ltrs...it'll see a lot of fuel stops :-D

Until the first curve, and the battery weight makes itself known. No noise or engine feedback sounds like a nightmare, talk about killing the man-machine connection.

Has there been any progress on finding out where they are made?

The old one was made in England, and that - in Thailand?

Does anyone actually know?

By the time you have the mine the model will have changed 2-3 gens xD
