Arcimoto CEO and Founder Mark Frohnmayer delivers a company update on our progress throughout the summer of 2020, including an interview with Lean Design expert Sandy Munro, and plans to scale production to 50,000 vehicles per year within the next 24 months.

I have had a stroke and the only arm my left could put the controls on the left side. From Lismore NSW Australia. Arcimoto would be ideal for Lismore and my self.

I have an idea for an FUV "camping" configuration model. This would be for one with full doors: The front and back seats tilt all the way flat so it becomes a bed with the inclusion of a special cushion that fits over the seats and basically turns a full-doored FUV into a hard-shell one-person tent. Making it an awesome vehicle for something like Burning Man. 👍

Thanks mark, send you an email earlier that i would like a combination of a deliverator for workdays pickup and deliveries to customers and a fun FUV for weekend rides with 2 people. Hope you can work something out for working people who want to use the FUV for multiple goals and also for fleets that can switch the FUV to demand

I did invest. My spouse did rent one this Summer in Key West. If Tesla is going to have an autonomous vehicle network, this will allow freedom for those who want to run around, as long as there is a Winter option for cold weather.

Thanks for the update. I want one but since I live in NY and wouldn't be able to drive it year round I'll have to wait for the price to come down and doors with windows. I also need to find out if a motorcycle license & a helmet would be required.

I am in. Buying your stock tomorrow. You have got me convinced you have what it takes to be successful. But you have to work on one thing that is getting the best technology out with a 5 year plus lead in your products with the price at a level that is acceptable. Basically the same formula with most of the successful companies out there. Having good products is no longer good enough in today’s market. The products need to be much superior than anyone’s. this is the place you have to work on to separate you from other CEOs and companies. I wish you the best of luck my friend.

@@pinkelephants1421 I'm not sure what Nikola has to do with FUV... But as far as I can tell, Nikola is a hype machine for fuel cells and hydrogen. Which are essentially just complex batteries with external specialty recharge requirements. So, same as gas stations and oil billionaires but maybe (someday) cleaner, and not much more efficient well to wheels. I prefer to just make my own Solar PV fuel, or choose green power company wind power, or even have the freedom to use coal or run my own gas generator if I felt the need. It's about the options for fuel at an individual level, and hydrogen can not easily do that. Rude Goldberg Battery is all they are.

@@D0li0 I only meant that Arcimoto has an actual production facility, has an actual sales record, and has more orders on its books than it can currently fulfill. Nikola Motors has prototypes (although it's utterly incredible that they are trying to take $5,000 deposits for the Badger that, as far as anyone can tell, only exists as computer renderings with very few specs on the table) but nothing else that's confirmable in sight. Arcimoto is a genuine company but Nikola Motors.....

How many FUV's can fit inside a shipping container? The more that fits, the lower the cost to supply the international markets.

For some markets they will have to build in the respective countries, like china and India, and maybe England. May be cheaper to ship parts and assemble there. But I rains so much in England, not sure how they will take to this. Some one ask the " fullychargedshow" guy.

Where can I find more information on state of crash testing, and also what are the challenges/roadmap for inclimate weather - working on doors, HVAC, defrosting, etc, or is this geared towards dry weather regions only for forseeable future? Would love to see some of these next-gen automotive companies here in NY and see snow/cold weather operation a priority.

How would it do on winter city roads? I don't think it has to have a GREAT heater but if it could hold the inside temperature at say 18C that would make it viable for winter city driving

We happily drive in freezing weather every winter. Recommend a good jacket, warm shoes, gloves, and possibly a fashionable scarf. Invigorating!

I am more excited to learn about this product..... Does it fully covered on the top and side? If not what if it rains... Also, for the 2 seat vehicles, is there a language space to carry groceries and stuff... Mostly for the local and office travelers... Does it seriously costs 20,000.. I am confused.. am I missing anything

102 city miles per charge, 4 hours level 2 charge time, 8 hours on Level 1. Most of our customers plug in to a standard outlet at night and are ready to FUV in the morning

What is the long range travel distance, say, 125 miles to visit relatives?

The FUV is rated by the EPA with a range of 102 miles city driving, 66 miles at a continuous speed of 55 mph, and 32 miles at a continuous speed of 70 mph. We do expect to offer longer-distance battery options in the future.

I really do not understand how Nikola is at 15B+ market cap with some vague promises and conecpts and arcimoto with a working product and a clear path to mass production is at ~250M market cap.

I forgot to mention I also believe that compressed air motor will become successful too. A compressed air motor has been developed and imagine a tank that can bee charged by a small compressor whilst driving using an electric motor or charging a tank in a few minutes. The chassis can be used as the tanks too. Power from free air its true.

I would love to buy the fuv But I have a problem you cannot bring that in The Bronx New York in a 5 Story Brownstone building To charge the battery to my apartment i need doors and windows also to fix it went it to do maintenance i am a carpenter also I work nights 11pm to 7am I do 20 miles with bicycle 2 work 10 miles going to work and going back home Another 10 miles 2 hours
