My ex brother in law was doing missionary work in Mexico 20 years ago and met his wife there. She didn't speak any English and he didn't speak any Spanish, but they sure seemed to love each other. He definitely got the better end of that deal because she was the best - sweet and smart.

My 2 buddies are Chicanos "Mexican Americans " and they went down to Jalisco and met their wives there, one of them stayed there with her, the other one is bringing her over.

No way! This makes me feel better about going. Is it safe? I had my plane ticket to GDL but was considering cancelling it because maybe it's not safe there. I'm Mexican American too, but not originally from Jalisco, I'm from the neighboring state Michoacán. Still though I want to check out the Los Altos region, see if I catch any fish, but also explore the area because I haven't been there before. (By fish I mean girls)

Many Mexicans as you know ride scooters or 4 wheelers. Also look at internet to get an electric bike cheap online. Even from the States. Much less online in Mexico or USA

I’m traveling to CDMX next week and I’ll be staying for an extended time. I’m convinced women here in the U.S. are pretty messed up (and it’s not necessarily their fault)

It is the same in Canada and Europe. I have worked my whole life and I've done very well. As a woman who dates women I've seen enough bad stuff happen I will never get married because I'm never giving anyone who I recently met access to what I have worked for my whole life. I've seen too many bad things to realize the odds are not in your favor.

@@geoffspeed The dog photo? Oh... please dont' think that's a perm condition. I have always loved dogs, but when I leave the US I will do what the passport bros do... I'll look for a more traditional partner who sees being together as a partnership where you work together to get through the rest of life, not a business opportunity to grab others stuff. But I won't get married. I'd rather stay single. My life is really good. Why would I bring in someone who is going to harsh my good?
