me and my ex broke up after two years and a week later he was dating a new person. i thought he was just rebounding but its been about 2 months and he’s commenting i love you under her posts abt him. they are serious and its crazy how quickly he moved on (or cheated). im growing and single and happy and living my best life alone w friends. amen!

I’ve noticed this same situation within my own life. I realized there were lessons that I needed to learn from the break up that needed to be faced alone. A new relationship would only delay the healing process. Although it’s painful, I feel that some of the most necessary lessons can be learned through a break up. Or at least in my case.

* going to journal right here real quick * I broke up with my bf a month ago and I don’t regret it at all however the way he started treating me afterwards I’d assume was bc he was hurting and his way of coping was being hard and hurtful, that being said he is now dating another girl (almost exactly) a month later even though we both agreed that we need to take time to truly understand and strengthen and develop our selves so seeing that’s he’s with someone else makes me wonder if he’s truly over it or still coping hazardly, with that being said I totally agree that fboys were not born as fboys and are actually just hurt ppl that were not encouraged to get better and began to determine that is who they are when it truly is not. A lot of people hurting now a days and want to say their in love when they don’t even truly love themselves. The narrative of relationships needs to be rewritten bc the stereotypes enforced in media of “just dating to date” needs to go

I could not agree with you more I was married for 12 years and have been single for 7 years now and I have also dated a lot and recently made the decision to be celibate I feel I am finally ready for a committed relationship but it took a lot of growing a lot of self-evaluation and time alone to be at this place I do feel that people jump into relationships way too fast and don't allow themselves to get to know each other and know what they really want

This video and topic are so good! The only thing I disagree with is being healthy and going into a relationship thinking about what you have to give. I think it definitely has to be a balance to give and receive especially for women. Women tend to give and give especially when they don't love themselves in relationships and Don't receive well enough or enough at all from the men they're with. If you're a good woman and have learned to love and value yourself, you already know what you bring to the table and you need to really be aware of what value HE will bring to your life!

Yes I knew who I was when I got into the relationship, one of the things that changes a person to lose themselves is if the is emotion physical abuse. Emotional abuse from the guy & his family & the physical abuse from his father. See you can be a very happy & be a whole healed person before entering a relationship & once you have without knowing what type of energy & influence a person really has on you, you have gone in too deep. I gave too much love trying to help him heal without him asking because that’s who I am & also because he really acted & told me that we got a future together. The wounds he has came from his parents & up bringing. I didn’t know that simply because he played a very good role by acting like all was good & acting shoe size not his age. It’s sad to say. So please don’t say that just because you forgot who you are coming out of that relationship means that you entered it without being healed. It doesn’t mean you didn’t enter it as a whole heal person 🙏🏾💯 It simply means that your other half really did a number on your health, emotionally, spiritually, mentally & physically

Why is it when you say you are not in a relationship people react in disbelief followed by them feeling sorry for you...PLEASE DON'T! I am not afraid of my own shadow or of spending quality time with myself. Singledom is underrated and has many positive aspects. I am definitely in a healthier and happier place within myself having had time to work out self acceptance and the value I am able to bring to my relationships moving forward. Never make do coming from a place of desperation or loneliness. If you meet your soulmate in the future. fantastic but if not sobeit! Taking time out peeps to cleanse, reevaluate and know thyself is very cathartic and healing. I would rather be happy on my own then unhappy in a relationship.😂

Can you talk about your views on multiple dating? when I was talking to my guy Friend and he said that, that’s how some guys are. I watched some videos on it and professional dating coaches say that they recommend it because it helps with not being emotionally attached with one person. like not putting all the eggs in 1 basket. If one was to go about multiple dating, how should he/she do it ? Is it date Multiple ppl at once with boundaries or date 1 person and keep the rest as friends ? Idk 😐 it seems confusing but apparently a lot of guys do this. I’ve heard of girls doing this too.

Thank God for you. When I was young I wish I had someone like you to listen too. I was in a very abusive relationship and as soon as it was over I went into another dreadful relationship. As soon as I got pregnant he left me. I was in a frying pan and jumped into a boiling pot.
