Most marriages are loveless or becoming such after a while. People get into marriage as a life transaction and arrangement for personal needs. Marrying for love is a luxury many don't get freedom and opportunity to experience.

My Wife decided years ago that I was not worth touching or kissing or anything else. She loves her cell phone, dogs and doing things for others rather than attending to our relationship needs. Defensive and pissed off whenever it is brought up (no matter how tender and careful). Insists "it's completely normal" but will not seek professional help.

I am in a loveless marriage since last December and I feel so suffocated every single day.

#11 is right on point. If I suggest Marriage Counseling, she gets on the defense and pissed off... Basically all 23 (except #7) I know she hasn't cheated neither have I. Not sure if she has thought of divorce, but I have... I'm just trying to hang on for my 5 year old.

These are many reasons why divorce rates are so high with 70-80% of women mostly filing for divorce. Some are justifiable and others are just emotional.

Live in separate ends of the house. He does not seem to have any intetest in me. He is happy with the intetnet, tv and movies.

My husband is emotionally attached another woman. He sees her 4 times a week and says there is no sex. When I expressed my feelings about it he went insane on me. We have no marriage. He says I’m controlling because I’m uncomfortable with the time he spends with his girlfriend.

I am lonely even when my partner is with me. We have no meaningful conversation, it’s mostly about petrol prices, weather, cleaning house, and so on. It seems My partner doesn’t like to spend time and money on us, we earn well enough to afford date nights every month or so but my partner rather spend evenings working or cleaning house. I do my bit of house work and like to use appliances to save time such as dishwasher and dryer but he likes to hand wash and use lines. My partner spends lot of time on these things than spend time on us. I have expressed my feelings but it only works for few days and my partner avoids deep conversations and changes topic to other matters. I now have started resenting my partner and have no emotional connection left. I day dream about my life without my partner, the only things that’s holding me is our kid. I feel hopeless, helpless and lonely. I cry every night to sleep and my partner doesn’t know that as he rather work than sleep with me. We still have physical relationship but I don’t really feel it Inside my heart and sometimes I grossed out which is definitely a red flag. My partner has also forced himself upon me few times and I have given up as I felt guilty but I don’t think it’s right as I didn’t felt loved but just wanted to get over with. I don’t know what should I do, when I talk about my feelings my partner gets defensive and does nothing about it to make it better. I have mentioned in the past for us to live separately even under one roof for our son as it will be best option for all of us, but then as usual I wasn’t taken seriously and totally brushed off my emotions. We get fine and everything gets back to normal for some time but these feelings never go away as we have no love left for one another. I am torn, I can’t let my kid go through the divorce and I don’t know how I could manage everything by myself.

We have all of these, but I’m too weary to leave.

I’m in a loveless marriage , me as a man I’ve messed up but she uses it as a weapon because I’m no good . I try to look beyond my mistakes and not to do them again and I know what my weakness are and try to be better no cheating of course… but lately after 18 years of being together I am useless I’m no good to her to myself to no one , if I could I’d end this thing but something in me the coward inside won’t let me end it all…

Men, do not hesitate for one moment to put a restraining order against your female partner if you feel your safety and health is in jeopardy. Placing a permanent restraining order on my female partner was absolutely the wisest protective move of my adult lifetime. My only regret is not doing it years earlier. Men, be safe!
