Id recommended downloading the dynamic camoflauge system mod, it allows for the AI to recognise things put out of order , e.g. a tan ghillie in a green environment will land you with a bullet in the head . While wearing a jungle ghillie will make it more difficult for the AI to spot you and shooting a suppressed shot will leave the AI in aware, but unable to spot you

this guide doesent translate well to ingame. if you are really going to crawl everywhere your wasting too much time. you need to focus on concepts which actually work like dead space and being able to move at the relative speed that terrain permits. the only thing i found in this vid that might help new players is "do not skyline".
