It is almost inconceivable to imagine that you could make an open world Viking simulator that would end up being incredibly tiresome and boring. But once again, Ubisoft rose to the challenge and defied all expectation.

It's a Viking game - where you get penalized for doing precisely the most classic Vikingy things. A Viking game where you get penalized for killing civilians. LOL. That was priceless!! Great review! What a freaking sterilized, revisionist history mess this game seems to be. Once again 21kiloton advocates for us and protects the money in our wallets. Well done lad!

Ubisoft has already made a friendly pirates and a friendly vikings game. As a Spaniard I can't wait for the friendly conquistadores game :D

The title of this video is the perfect discription of what the game actually is. It's so flat repetitive and boring. Every mission is basically a carbon copy of the previous one with little bits changed here and there. Ubisoft dropped the ball on this one it's one of the worst AC titles they've brought out in a long time.

Wow, that skill, uh, "tree" is something else. I actually enjoyed Odyssey, and the skill tree on that was actually intelligible. What they did here is some kinda monstrosity.

To think that the earliest gameplay trailers touted a 'Dark Souls-like dodge-block-parry stamina-based combat system' and 'hundreds of unique weapon movesets' and that 'social stealth makes a triumphant comeback' - either early access marketing really is gutter trash, or Ubi chickened out from providing an actual high skill ceiling to the combat, or likely a bit of both.
