Hi Julie, we really loved your videos. Thank you so much for sharing this in utube platform. Just a question, we have been granted a permanent residency visa (subclass 155 & partner visa 100) and we have booked our flight on 7th July directly to Melbourne, Victoria. Do you have latest information as to when the international border (specifically for Melbourne) plan to be open? Glad to hearing from you soon.

Hi Julie, Hope you and your family are well Firstly thank you for uploading such great and informative video .. if i am not taking too much of your time wanted to clarify one question hence appreciate if you can kindly confirm on this I am an australian PR since 2018 and have been working/residing in Australia since last 5 years with 2 years as PR (have not travelled more tha 2 months in an year ). However this year i am planning to travel overseas for more than 2 months to visit my father as he is not well but looking at the situation of lockdown i am unsure wether i will be able to return back witin 90 days ..could you please let me know if i can still apply for citizenship ? Thank you

I moved from New Zealand to Australia in 1997 when I was 2 years old and have lived here for 24 years, I have spent a total of 30 days outside of Australia in that time. I am currently on subclass 444 protected visa am I eligible for RRV

Hi, I will meet residence requirement in June 2022 for Australian citizenship application. Can I live overseas for 6 months or longer once my application is lodged while I await for my partner’s visa to be approved ? Would it lead to cancellation of my citizenship application ?

Hello mam..I am a PR (subclass 189) . Made my first entry but lived overseas for about 4 years. When I wanted to move permanently to Australia, COVID 19 happened. Its been almost 5 months but not able to board a flight. Visa expires in another 4 months. if I am not able to make it by then, will RRV be an option for me?

My husband and my two kids are Australian citizen but me n my elder daughter is permanent resident and unfortunately due to pandemic and lockdowns could not make in time to get back and our visas got expired and more importantly we did not lived in Australia for the required 2 years. What are the options for us as we are planning to get back to Australia permanently with in a year time considering the pandemic n lockdowns. Thank you

Hi Julie, I'm planning to go to Australia for university and work there as soon as i graduate medicine, and hence planning to get a resident return visa. I was a former PR; I lived in Australia from 2008 to 2010 (2 years) and studied there, had friends and everything and was a permanent resident with the subclass 121 visa (employer nomination scheme) from my dad who worked there. My visa was not cancelled and it is not on the list for ineligible visas for the resident return. I just wanted to know this is would be enough to be eligible for the subclass 155 or 157 visa and possibly get it? and thank you for your videos they are extremely helpful!

A Travel ban was imposed on all non-resident and non-Australian citizens coming into Australia from 9.00pm , Friday 20th March 2020. Only Australian citizens, permanent residents, New Zealand citizens who are normally resident in Australia and immediate family members of Australian citizens and permanent residents can enter Australia after this time. Once the travel ban is lifted, temporary visa holders will be able to enter. When will it happen? No one knows

My family received permanent residency back in 2005 however after visiting Melbourne once, we never went back. Is it possible for us to claim and RRV or is it too late (we stayed for a very short while in Australia and im sure it wont fulfill the 2 year requirement).

If one has applied for citizenship, Can they travel outside Australia after the application? Can the applicant return to partake in the citizenship ceremony?

@@crazymelvin19 before the ceremony you must pass citizenship test. After you apply you can travel and come back if its not along time.
