A ‘B’ horror movie actress and her posse grace Renee’s star looking to have some fun, and a brother helps his younger sister find her dream wedding gown.
Teehee, love your comment.. my grandma used to say the same. LoL Despite not having much class, she (the actress) shouldn’t have to be knocked over the head to realize that her so called friends don’t have her best interest at heart. Her appointment appears to be a joke to them and a place for them to act out and be the pretentious “wannabes” that they are. The camera was rolling after all. LoL
of course not, because while both are horrible for the lovely beings and for all and the planet, the latter is a lot worse, but at the end of the day, all lives (except most human ones) are invaluable (let alone for so little money) and deserve a lot better.
Lol..."Can't make a silk purse from a sow's ear" was something my Nan used to say often. I never understood it as a small child but then did as an adult and it's so true. God these wanna be women are repulsive at best, especially the one in the black hat🤢
I love the brother! He’s a straight guy that loves his sister and pays attention to fashion. My brother was similar and everyone gave him a hard time about just caring about things his sisters were into. Men can be into fashion whatever their personal preference. Don’t be so judgmental. Sorry this made me feel so protective of men who just love the women in their life.
are you forgetting the cost of the silk threading and the hourly manpower rate? they're not machine-made. just for shits n giggles, go grab a couple feet of tulle and embroider it. see how long it takes you and multiply that by the hourly rate of a skilled tradesworker (hint: it ain't minimum wage)
Honestly, if I had no budget for my wedding dress, I would have gotten it custom made. HELLOOOOOOO! It goes to show these semi-famous people don't REALLY have a bottomless budget.
It is not nice when a bride has a budget of $2500 and the owner gives her a veil that cost $2400.. what game is she playing? That's not nice at all. The reason that I watch say yes to the dress it is because they are very respectful towards people's budget. Renee did have a veil within her budget but still showed her a very expensive veil! Just not cool..
I loved Regina's family They clearly have class and chose the classiest dress. And that just shows money doesn't buy you class. The best dress was most inexpensive Also Regina's brother is goals, he has the same reactions I have had
she looked like Cinderella after the rehab clinic in that dress. if she was serious about getting a dress, she wouldn't have been turned off it so easily.
That first bride can't even move her face. It's sad, really. They all looked and acted so fake, and for what? I think they seem desperate. It all seems so staged.
.....Well I think most people do. Apparently Nicole Kidmans agent calls the media ALL the time and that's why you always see those boring photos of her arriving (or departing) at airports.
Yes, he should have paid the commission on that blue dress to the salesperson. How selfish to insult that bride snd her entourage’s taste, especially with what he was wearing.
I can't believe I'm admitting to watching more than one of these shows but in the one right before this Kevin Lee loved the blue dress. Could this possibly be scripted and untrue??? Heaven forbid!
I actually love that blue dress. It covered her arms that look so anorexic. Even though I think they are wannabes, I felt for her. she was so happy and then that Jackass came in and said what he said. Her face just fell.
What a jerk that Kevin Lee. That girl had found the perfect gown for her wedding. The blue one was awesome. He robbed Renee and I hope she takes notice of that in her heart of hearts.
he's a professional and has been in business for decades. he knows exactly what he's doing. Rene probably sent him in to get rid of the bride and her entourage because $17K is a lot to risk on a dress the bride will not follow through on.
I'm not sure if I'm more frustrated with that blue dress or with Kevin for blowing a $17,000 sale. That's not the business associate you want coming to your store constantly.
do you really think she was serious about that dress? it was an impulse purchase. 100% when she went in for her first fitting, she would have decided she hated it after all. i've noticed that kevin is at his most obnoxious when the bride to be is problematic.
Every Bride Deserves to be happy on her special day. Rich or poor what ever her price range does not matter. I spent $86:00 bucks on my wedding dress in 1984 through JC penny catalog it was beautiful to me and I was happy all lace gown it was awesome.
My daughter's first wedding gown cost $99. It was on the sales rack & was beautiful - all dutchess satin with pearl beading throughout the gown. At the wedding reception somebody bumped into her & spilled red wine all over her beautiful dress. After the wedding I sent the dress out to be professionally cleaned & preserved but the stain didn't come out completely. Unfortunately, the marriage lasted only 10 yrs. Tip to brides: don't have red wine at your wedding. Lol.
Thank godness Kevin blew the sell. That blue dress is the most hideous monstrosity. The dusty pink dress was the better fr her, and her friends wanted her to look ridiculous
Well in my opinion it is the most stunning dress, and if I had a hope in hell of looking like she did in it, I would be ecstatic. Minimalism may be in these days, but boring is not my style.
The blue one camouflaged her scrawny arms and bony chest and drew attention to her face which had too much done to it. That dress was made for someone like her and her weird laugh.
I think she called a friend to play at being a paparazzi and take pictures. Everyone in Hollyweird is an actress in their own head!!! LMAO! The guy from New York is hilarious. He knows these dresses are awful and overpriced. He's the only one willing, to tell the truth!!!
The actress is disturbing. Am I the only one who thinks she looks anorexic? The blue dress really made her look better. I can't imagine not getting it because someone walked in and didn't like it. And a veil that costs that much!!!
The blue dress was fantastic and looked great on her. Definitely, I would've bought it. I would've told him - "it's is a matter of taste and what you have on is hedious, white suit, red shirt with white flowers and fuscia scarf." Yikes! Not cool.
I just commented above about her being anorexic and I feel sad for her. She asked if she looked FAT in her dress so she is obviously dealing with Anorexia and I'm wondering WHY her friends are trying to HELP HER INTO THERAPY for THAT? I hope that she gets help...
I cannot get over how derogatory they are about their clients.. a smile doesn't hide their attitude.. I was even less impressed with Lauriels Bridesmaid's comments re spandex and eating... her friend is anorexic thin...
They didn't sell the blue dress... Kevin ruined the sale. Also, that dress shop is not there anymore. The employees sued and won, then she refused to pay what the court ordered. The cops literally raided the shop and took her inventory for non-payment.
I cannot STAND Kevin Lee!! No homophobia here; I love the Fab Five, and Monte from SYTTD. And my stepson is trans. Kevin is just too over the top fake.
Actual text that I sent my 22 yr old after watching 1 other episode and half of this one: I'm combating my intrusive anxiety and thoughts at the moment by watching old episodes of a reality TV show called Brides of Beverly Hills. Watching these fake posers who flash money and talk in that la dee day voice and really think they're something is good for ones mental health as it turns out. Watching people who think they've got It All, but who genuinely haven't a clue how hilarious and obnoxious and ridiculous they are just hits the soul different 😂 The exception is the sweet girl who just wants a simple dress. But otherwise, how do people live in LA? The pretentiousness would be like a toxin you cannot escape.
I bet we could totally be friends 😃😃, I honestly think what you wrote was a wonderful point of view and in same health boat with ya, unfortunately for us.
@@maclainenoxon4586 I agree. Sadly, she probably does think she looks overweight. It's hard to watch someone so slim critical of their weight, knowing that what she really needs is mental health support so she can learn to love herself.
really? the traditional colour for purity and virginity is blue. just like diamond rings, the white thing is a very recent "tradition", dating back to 1840 when Queen Victoria wore a white dress and set the trend. prior to that, brides wore a dress they loved and that could be worn again. nobody wasted money on a dress that would be worn once. it would be more accurate to say that white is cliché.
this was quite entertaining. I love how the staff and owner are taking the piss out of the B movie "star". The brother of the other one reminding everyone he lives in NYC 383 times...
Blue dress could have been tastefully done. The random rouching on the bottom is something I wouldn't like on any color/white dress. The brother of the bride saying he liked the blusher, that's the kind of guy for critique -the one who tells you what he likes straightforward and sweet.
I’am completely addicted to this show! So fun and extremely serious at the same time. Renée if you feel like you need to resource yourself far from Beverly Hills I invite you and your family in my place for Rosh Hashana
when you don't know what you're talking about, best to stay quiet. go get one of those embroidery kits. see how long it takes you. then maybe you'll understand.
I'm from India so I don't know much about Beverly Hills..from what I have seen it looks like a expensive place, people are so rich.. these dresses are expensive and looks bad..maybe that's what rich people want..🤷
If it wasn't for the fact that reality TV is not reality I couldn't believe Kevin would blow the sell of a $16000 dress that he is very familiar with and knows well she's had a hard time selling. If that was real bet Mr fabulous would be buying that dress himself to make up for it!
Kevin was right. The blue dress, which I happen to believe will be perfect for the right Disney Bride one day, was far too much dress for this ultra-thin, skeletal woman. On her, this dress looked more like a costume for one of her B horror films like Bride of Dracula. Clearly, her friends were not her friends at all. I understand Renee for trying to move the dress to the first person willing to buy it but I think she also has a responsibility to advise brides truthfully and responsibly to help them look their best for their weddings. Dresses are available in styles, fabrics and fits to flatter every body type. Just as the Plus-sized woman does not look her best in a dress that accentuates boobs in the back, a mother's apron, and other pooches, super slender girls don't need gowns that swallow them up and wear them down the aisle.
I'm sorry but that veil was hideous! I know she couldn't afford the 2400$ one but that veil wasn't it either...it totally took away from the dress which was beautiful! All you saw was veil!
I agree. She could have bought a veil from another place and could have got a similar one at a better price. I did not like the short poofy veil. I would not pay $220 for that.
I never thought the day will come when I actually agree with Kevin, but blowing the sale on that hideous dress was the right thing. The brides friends are clearly smoking something as I’m sure none of them would wear that dress themselves. One was even implying that she needed to wear Spanx even though she’s clearly anorexic looking..
This is the 1st time I have ever watched the show.. I loved diamond foxes gown she looked absolutely beautiful in it and you could tell that she and her husband are so much in love.. Plus I like the way the wedding planner acts hes funny and cute at the same time and and the lady who owns the shop it's so funny and so welcoming but you can tell that she is there to sell those dresses. Also she has a wonderful staff that I'm going to watch this next one but before I do I'm going to make myself a bloody Mary because it's a lunch time.
While I'm watching this show I can't imagine living in a town with all these particular type of people in it. After I look as long as I can look I want to do one of two things vomit or take a shower. I can't imagine living my life thinking that money, designer brands and expensive cars is what makes life worthwhile.
Is this show literally a spoof?! The girl who was a vegan was so extremely stereotyping herself from her clothes, hairstyle, jewelry, and what she said and how she acted. Like over the top stereotype! And the actress was so ridiculously stereotyped 🤣 this show is freaking hilarious!
Silk is the substance produced by the worm...silk is now also manufactured from spider's "web" strands. Silk does not require the death of the worm..or spider
LOL I KNEW IT KEVIN LEE IS SUCH A FAKE Remember in a previous show he calls that dress FABULLLOOOOUUUUS, NOT HE ADDs a new word to his think hidiouuuuuss lol
@@elaineculbert8594 I saw a previous episode where they said Martin Short actually based Frank's character on him... I actually LOVE Frank, so I feel like Martin did a wonderful job endearing him, but this guy is just too much.
@@EmilyRachael90 - Thank you, Emily, you are absolutely correct! Re this show, I’d left more than one Comment here and there and couldn’t find this (incorrect) one of mine. I intended to correct or delete it. I later learned that the opposite was/is true (Martin Short copied Kevin)!! I wonder if Kevin is really this flamboyant 24/7 … when not in front of a camera? Thanks again. 🇨🇦
Oh come on ladies just go to a fabric store by your fabric, find yourself a seamstress to put an edge on it put some appliques on it and tada put it on a comb you're done. Seriously. That's the easiest part.
says someone who knows nothing about clothes design and construction. having a dress custom-made would absolutely NOT be cheaper! I've made clothes for my kids - it's expensive, time-consuming, and a pain in the ass.
Kevin may be entertaining, but often he is just plain rude! I don’t understand why Renee loves him because he not only kills sales, he tells her she needs a facelift and once told her that it doesn’t show that she works out. Oy!
Ok this show is giving me say yes dresses with triple the price tags. Why are they so expensive? But I'm loving the show. I can't believe I've just found it.
That girl in the blue dress looked great in the dress. I felt so bad for her, she is so anorexic or unhealthy. With her friends making comments about her size, and she obviously has issues with it. It was really heartbreaking. I hope that she has gotten the help that she needs.
That brother was too much for words LOL two opinionated for his own good and that guy with his opinion about that blue dress when that girl and her Entourage loved it he had to start calling the store when he's coming over he's going to start losing sales not only that making someone feel that the dress they chose is ugly
@@krystenburkhardt-hansyn i honestly think so cause in the another episode it looked very poor on the other bride. ANOTHER THING REENE SAID "THEY ARE WANNABES GO SELL THEM SOMETHING" i think that is so rude she should never make fun of someone like that i didn't like that and that wanabe would have walked away with a 17,000 $ dress that noonr else wanted this show is new to me i watched few episodes but that is the most expensive dress i saw since the beginning on another episode a millionaire that is a handbag designer bought a dress fir 1,500$ and they couldn't have been nicer to her
you mean the 17 grand he saved rene from losing when the bride decided that, after all, she didn't like the dress once it had been ordered and alterations had been done?
Even if you are Oprah Winfrey or Melinda Gates, it's still disgusting to spend $10,000 for a wedding dress. Unless it can be donated later to generate money for charity, or something like that.
Oh my God her entourage said it perfectly Horrible and this women does not understand it is not the dress that looks cheap but you guys are the ones that look cheap
Im sorry but I agree with Kevin-the blue dress was so heavy and didn’t compliment the brides skin tone and beauty-stupid question but why do the consultants choose groans that are way way out of the Brides price range?I mean I know they wanna make the most $$they can but maybe it’s just the location that the dresses are over the top-Regina and her family ❤️
