Of all the wedding dress shows, this is the one with the least appealing dresses. So strange. I see dresses for under $2K, that are stunning in the other stores.
LMFAO!!!! Right?!?!? I cringe every time he comes on in these videos because he has ZERO tact and seriously thinks he's a huge celebrity which had I not stumbled on these videos I wouldn't know he ever existed.
And there’s the most terrible comment first off….” They’ve literally come off the anorexic size models, that’s why they don’t fit”…. Why would you say that to any bride of any size??? If the models dresses aren’t going to fit “ normal” sizes why on earth would you have them in your shop? In the first five minutes she has potentially made any bride who has any body issues terribly self conscious. Anorexia is a terrible disease which robs so many young girls and women of their lives, to make a “ joke” of this is not good
Thank you! I’m normally team bride when it comes to bridesmaid’s dresses but Eja was a horror! She liked a hideous dress and just talked over her bridesmaid and friend.
An experienced beauty queen who spends a lot of time in evening wear would know there is no uniform sizing among designers and manufacturers. Her worrying that unusually small samples and larger sizes on the labels meant she was fat was a bit crazy. No one was going to be watching her walk down the aisle thinking she was beautiful but the dress was a size 12.
I’m guessing that shops that cater to the beauty pageant crowd are very sensitive to size issues & maybe re-label the size or buy from manufacturers who provide only US size labels? I really have no idea but I can understand that girls & women super focused on their looks would be paranoid about the numbers
the bride and her fiancé happily sitting on the couch re-watching the recordings of her peagent shows is as creepy as kathleen turner cooking breakfast in serial mum
This show just doesn't have the heart and warmth that the other bridal shows have. It's like they're trying way too hard, and the faux celebrities are forced.
The first bride knows her mother isn't emotional but keeps saying she wants her to cry. She knows her mom is conservative but somehow expects her to love the out-there dresses she picks. She knows her mom doesn't like the feathers but wants her to say she likes the feathers but then doesn't believe her when she says she likes the feathers because WE ALL KNOW she doesn't really like the feathers. What an annoying mess.
Her daughter- the bride was so rude. I felt bad for her mom. Then they all ganged up on her. Did not care for this shop owner. Definitely not Kleinfeld’s or Bridal by Lori.
Lol. The look on Carrie Anne's mother's face when they were all fawning over that guy and acting like silly little girls. She was the only sane one in the room, and was probably thinking, "What kind of monster has my daughter become?"
I find that guy "Kevin" just to obnoxious, very painful to listen to him what an idiot. The show is not very professional, don't care how many names/shows Renee drops that she does work for. "Randy Fenoli" from SYTTD Kleinfelds, is still my favorite.
Wow, Carrie Ann is disrespectful. If she knows what she wants, why is her Mother even there? She just wants the air time and is throwing her Mother under the proverbial bus.
Another bride who said yes, but wore something else on her wedding day, she's kari volen on Facebook, you can see the dress there. First time I'm saying this, but I actually thought the feathered dress was better than what she wore.
She sure had her claws out. The mom was trying to be supportive, but Carrie Ann wouldn't believe anything she said. What should have been a nice mother daughter day was ruined because the bride was so defensive.
The Armenian family are so warm, they laugh a lot and so supportive. The beauty queen was a bit rude to her mom. I can see mom's awkward face when she asked for her bridesmaid to take photo together but her own mom is not included. She was behaving like a spoiled child that couldnt get what she wants and being angry to her mom.
Her mother is guilty of spoiling her, and always pamper her. Then the brat is so disrespectful. Keeps worrying about what size is It is what it is. I feel sorry for the guy that's marring her. He will get sick of her pretty quick. She's not that special. Only in her eyes

@@absolutetruthgirl She said while the one girl was trying on the dress and she’s normally a size 4 and she had to wear a size 8 or something and she started getting upset the owner said “all these dresses are so new that they came straight of the anorexic girls off the runway”
When I watch these dress shows, I generally like most of the dresses. This is the first time I’ve seen this show and every single dress was ugly :/. I would expect more from Hollywood?
Carrie Anne won beauty pageants !! She looks like a everyday girl you see here at Bondi Beach, blonde and slim. In fact our girls leave her for dead in Bondi as they are stunning. She is an ordinary home grown girl..with a big ego..never been a size 8/10 get over it.. over the years you will look like your mother..genetics. I think the woman who owns the bridal salon is beautiful and vibrant..very attractive. Australia..

Yes, from Ireland and she is beyond average. I think her mum has been bigging her up for decades . Nothing wrong with confidence but we also have to have self awareness. I guess she needs to also focus on her inner self as her obsession with size is mind numbingly boring.
This show is an absolute mess. Comments about anorexia. A neurotic self obsessed bride who's worst nightmare isn't being a size two. The way the Armenian bride and Armenian consultant cold stone sized each other up. The terrible bridal dresses. The even worse bridesmaids dresses. Thus celebrity guy. The celebrity guy interrupting a mother daughter moment. The celebrity guy at all. Yikes.
I don’t like her obsession with her size. I’m a size 14 and every time I try my dress on, I cry. It doesn’t matter about size. It matters how you FEEL in the dress.
She clearly has issues about it and it is probably a factor in her strained relationship with her mom. She can never be good enough for her mom's approval and is basically begging for it at the end. It's a mental health issue more than anything else, but I can see how it might seem superficial to someone like you who is confident in her body at whatever size is healthy for you
There's nothing wrong with size 14. I'm 5'4 and was very happy when I was a 14. Now I'm over 50 and gained some weight, hopefully will get to my typical 14 again.
This is the 3rd episode I'm binge watching and every dress is hideous. It's like, how much crap can we fit on every inch of a dress to make it cost a lot of money. There is not one thing classy about any of it.
The Beverly Hills store seems to cater to people more impressed by the price tag, not how attractive they are. Many of the ones I see don’t look good on the brides as they are the wrong style for their body type. Gowns might not look good to them on a hanger, but can be transformed by the right person so people should keep an open mind.
The bridesmaid dress area looks like a Kmart warehouse this is supposed to a upscale shop? Now that I look at the brides area is not very upscale either. The dresses are tack-Kay tack-Kay tack-Kay. This store is terrible. Never thought I’d say this, but I’m missing pnina dresses, and I thought hers were tacky and tasteless.
I used to sell wedding dresses and I can't tell you how many times I saw a Bride fall in love with a dress then the Mom came in and didn't like it. I always felt sorry for the brides because all they wanted was for the Mom to love the dress and they should've.
The obsession with the size number is rough. You have to let that go. My off-the-rack dress size is 12, but when I sew up a commercial pattern, it’s a 16. My dress Army uniform is an 18 jacket, and a 14 trouser. The number is not the point.
Speaking from experience, my mother is not emotional at all. She was the “oh you got hurt, suck it up” type mom. It used to bother me, but she is a great loving mom and that’s the way she is. Carrie is trying to force her mom to give a reaction that is not in her moms “wheelhouse”. Carrie seems the one with the issue and blaming it on mom.
I really didn't like any of the dresses that Keri-Ann tried on, even though I am fashion forward and also think that the bride should buy the dress that she loves. I think that her Mum did her best to be supportive of the dress with the feathers, but felt that Keri-Ann was trying to get her to say that she loved it, even though she would have been lying. Craziness! The sister of the Armenian bride was mean! Or was it jealousy? I loved the first two dresses she tried on. Not a fan of the mattress/comforter style of dresses at all...but if the bride liked it...it's her day after all.
Such a fuss over a wedding dress. Really? There's something deeper going on here between mom and daughter. I just don't get why it's so important to a bride what anyone else thinks about the dress she chooses. It should be based only on what the bride likes and not everyone else's opinion! So ridiculous. If I loved a dress I wouldn't care what Anyone else thot!
Oh my god bridal gowns are off on sizing by alot. I was a 2 and wore an 8 in gowns. Ridiculous because that day of all days dresses should be sized accurately
I have been a size 18 and now I'm a size 5/6 and all the sizes in between. I'm not any happier being a smaller size. We really need to be happy with the size we are. Each size has its own benefit features/ cons we should be happy with what we have. I'm telling you no matter what size you are there is things you won't like. I think I would like to go back to a size 10 or 12. Love yourself a little more it makes life so much more enjoyable. 🤯

@@ceramicvases do you get a thrill every time you copy and paste your same comment over and over again onto unrelated threads? Can't see why else someone would do it...
I'm no wedding stylist (or even remotely stylish), but I find quite a few of the dresses are a bit unflattering. The one around 11:00 is alright, and the one at 15:00 is pretty good, though I'm not wild on the feathers.
IT'S NICE TO HAVE MONEY TO BUY NICE WEDDING DRESSES BUT THERE ARE WEDDING DRESSES THAT IT'S NOT EXPENSIVE AND STILL ARE NICE SOME TIMES LESS IT'S MORE !!!!!
I think the friend of the beauty queen, is far prettier than the beauty queen! Am I the only one? And the clip of her and her fiancee watching her pagent videos was cringe worthy and you could see he was not really happy to be filmed watching them!
I'm just curious if she brought those crowns from days gone by why didn't she have them on her head to incorporate with her veil? Or was it just for show since she was being filmed

As a former model, I didn't feel like that comment was body shaming at all. It was true! I made a decision to be stick thin so I could get bookings. I counted every calorie I ate for seven years. It was hard staying that thin, but I made that career choice. Afterwards, I got a job that wasn't based on my size. Forty years later, now I'm old and plump and wish I had the discipline to be thin again.
I have a friend who is obsessed with being the smallest shoe size in every shop and gets really giddy when her feet are "too small" for the shoe shop lmao some people are just get really hung up on being the smallest
An G, she didn't say Stamm but said Baum pronouncing it Bem. The meaning was very clear. It warms my heart when someone speaks German. 17.06 and following she is trying to unite mother and daughter.
