Well Rags from EFAP made comment saying this show is great example of for beginner critics to practice on. Basically it's great example of NOT what to do when writing a show.

This is the type of show that makes even bad writers seem not so bad.

Ocean took it from the island gave it to Ryan's gf, cause she was worked with him, and she regifted it to Ryan who planned to regift it to her mom before she died, also Ryan's gf didn't know she unknownly regifted basically a multi billion dollar rare plant.

@@1977dajmo You are right. The problem with their line of thinking is if we removed the bad people, then people will just be good. The world doesn’t work that way. Also they don’t realized not everyone is bad that is in law enforcement. They see justice system was setup to do harm than good. They have made good and bad subjective based on who’s team that person on. It really goes back to that George Bush quote, “If you aren’t with us, then you are against us.”

@@tonycleek4981 I was listenting to a podcast on the radio the other day about defund the police. The people on there went on about the history of police (in the U.S. at least) which date back to the 19th century, so "not all that long ago", and that they were created by corporations to keep immigrants in check that formed groups to combat poor working conditions etc. Not to mention of course some of these enforcement groups were stemmed from immigrants themselves; gangs and what not (the Irish: see Gangs of NY movie). And so their reasoning is to not just defund the police (which previously I and many others thought was a miswording and meant 'reform');' no because reform still means you are giving money, millions to the police. aka 'a broken system' so it will still be used for 'corruption'. They also used statistics mentioning that most crimes dont go solved and police are really just there to harass people not save people. So no they want to actually abolish all police entirely. They literally said this on the podcast. And these were scholars.

@@budgiecat2885 I might have a certain bias toward police since my brother-in-law died on duty so that is why I mentioned it first. There was time before my lost that I might have agreed with the defund or reform the police without the understanding of what that means. it was seeing my brother-in-law in action and having discussions with him about the subjects. I have had several discussions with people on the history of the police. I have noticed that people like to cherry-pick certain words when comes to law enforcement history. What people forget that every society throughout history had some kind of protector. They could have guards, constables and soldiers just to examples. The other thing they like to cherry-pick is a specific function of the time. It is true that some 19th century companies hired groups like the Pinkerton Detective Agency for enforcement of orders during strikes and slave patrols did exist during Slavery Fugitive Act and part of the job of the early Texas Rangers were to fight the Indians. But the problem is that people will point to this on specific function and take it out of context to push the narrative. They forget that times were different and ancestors didn’t have the knowledge that we do now. I have often remarked how it was great that social media didn’t exist during my childhood in the 80s and my college years in the 90s like now. Most people learn and grow just like most societies do. You have to be careful of the use of statistics and crime reports to push a narrative like defund or reform the police. There is some truth about unsolved crimes never get taken care of which should lead to the question why. What types of crimes went unsolved? Did the police have the necessary resources to handle it? What was the reason(s) given failure in solving the crime? If you watch any real life criminals documentary or how real life murder was solved, you will see that it doesn’t get solved like cop drama. Sometimes, it is more luck or the invention of new technology comes along. When I have the discussing about defund vs reform. I have noticed you need to have them defined their terms or they will moved the goal post. Most of the people that I talked with about do really want to get rid of the current law enforcement system but it is better to say “reform” because don’t want to sound to radical. I have often listened several duties of the police and asked which ones would they send a social worker or someone else other than the police. I have shown examples of how some of these situations turn violent and the police had to diffusion the situation. My counter is more training for deescalating procedures and more community interactions with the police. So the people can get to know police officers and the police will know the people they are there to protect and serve.

@@tonycleek4981 I will say this though: I find it absolutely absurd how it takes longer to get a license to be a dog groomer than it does a policeman. I def think there needs to be more evaluation and training; and a police officer should prob have the same psych credentials as a social worker imo. Times evolve and so too should law enforcement and the court system.

Isnt it amazing how all legacy batman characters are either dead or missing? Joker dead, Luscious dead, Alfred dead (I think), no Robin, no gordons, no catwoman, no poison Ivy, Leslie Thompkins underground clinic replaced with Mary's. How can you have a show that takes place in GOTHAM and utilizes the Bat name, cave, and Wayne enterprises, but absolutely no mentions of any of these characters, aside from single passing comments about a few of them being dead.

@@falsealias2046 Outside of Legends of Tomorrow, which was a spinoff of Flash and Arrow and was team based by default from day one, as soon as Arrow became "team Arrow", as soon as Flash became "team Flash:" and...(well lets be honest: Supergirl, like Batwoman, sucked from day one) as soon as Supergirl got her own "team" as well, is when all of those shows got considerably worse.

Maybe the plane broke into pieces and Kate was in a section that crashed somewhere else? But that, of course, raises the question of how the hell Kate could possibly have survived the crash if the plane was torn apart like that, but it's not like anything else on this show makes sense.

If they go that route... how can anyone look at her and not think about the fact that she's wearing someone's ass on her face....

@@James_Bee Alice can't make Kate look like her old self because the power of Alice's mind made her forget Kate (as they set it up in this episode). Of course, there would be no reason to reconcile with someone you don't remember...but since when does this show make any sense. We've probably already given this more thought than the writers.

I know it's not Dula, I guess they did gender bent the Riddler but instead of a criminal master mind they are now a hypnotist that serves as an excess to redeem Alice and turn Kate "Evil" I don't man trying to find logic in this show's writing is next to impossible

Given the amount of digging most of these superhero shows do to find unknowns my guess is she's riddler's daughter and she's older than kate n beth or when to the island sooner than Alice.

Dude, we're talking about a show where the primary law enforcement agency in the city don't even have security guards or cameras in their own parking lot after multiple attacks and kidnappings happened there. At some point, wondering where the hell security is just starts to feel like a waste of time.

All the gay people in Gotham by opening that gay bar it gave them a place to feel safe. You know that bar they only showed at night once then became a coffee place by day with hardly anyone in it
