I must admit that I wasn't paying too close attention to Bayonetta Origins. From the launch preview it looked like a quick little cash-in on the success of Bayonetta 3.
But now, having played it, I love this game. Really, really love it. I can't wait to play on and experience the rest of the game.

One note : bayonetta in this game does ballet while grown cereza dance in a vogue style does that mean umbra witches change dance style??

I like to believe that all the witches need to know a basic dance form AND as they are growing up, they personality it.

This is a good question. If there is an answer it hasn't been made clear in the game so far, but I'll keep my eye out for it.

I wasn't going to get this game. But after watching some gameplay I can see more Bayonetta in this Bayonetta than I could in the Bayonetta in Bayonetta 3.

Looks like an actually pretty fun game but I still can’t shake the feeling that the Bayonetta franchise got slapped on another smaller project for recognition. They Star Fox Adventure’d it

I think that's probably what happened sort of. Bayonetta Origins looks and sounds like a more realized version of what Scalebound originally was when it was first planned for the Wii. Platinum probably has always wanted to do something with that old pre-Xbox Scalebound work and decided that Bayonetta along with their relationship with Nintendo was a safe and convenient way to bring it back.

According to what developers have posted on the Platinum Games blog, it's always been a Bayonetta project, right from the start. Before it even had a genre or game design.
