I love Beats by the Pound ❤️ I remember I never knew what KLC looked like 🥴🤣🤣 . I have an autograph from Mo B Dick in my senior book . My grandma was working at Piccadilly and seen him and Silkk . Yes I had her running behind the whole No Limit 😭😭 Great memories !!!! Ain’t nothing like Louisiana 💪🏾 Baton Rouge bound 😌
Appreciate this joint! These dudes was a part of my upbringing, going to get all of these multiple color cds every week from Sam goody spending my chore money!
Much respect to you B High... You get all the legendary artists, producers in the the music industry... Keep doing your thang fam salute to you brotha!!!
BBTP are my favorite producers of all time. There are “better” producers overall but the work that beats put in is legendary and so many of them are memorable.
I love this interview. Back in 1998 and 1999 I was all about No Limit but I was a 14 year old white boy in the country. It was rare for me to get CDs, so I only had a couple. Now I got almost all of the No Limit albums that BBTP produced. The only one I’m missing is True.
Mane No Limit is my all time favorite record label everyday of my life I listen to at least 5 no limit songs from all artists and Beats By The Pound being my top favorite producers
Beats by the pound mom was my teacher at Tubman middle school. She really loved her son. She talked about him at least twice a week. Really wish he could’ve came and talk to us but she said he was flying across the world. One day🤝
I had the honor of spending a couple of weeks with these guys. And when i tell u humble Men,i mean that. Craig B should me how to spin records. And when i tell u Moby can play any instruments, he really can.
The sound of no limit. I can remember going to a girl block party in middle school and they played that always feel like somebody watching me. Mob dick hook stuck with me til this day
B High, my brother...you are the 🐐!!! I’ve been waiting on this whole interview. Thank you fam die this. And thank you for putting it down for the great state of Georgia.
major salute to #beatsbythepound these guys are national treasures bhigh yo atown style make everyone comfortable as hell lol sir u got it! #southsideleecosaidso
This was a great interview!! Love hearing the stories & KLC spoke nothing but facts. I was a die hard No Limit fan. Literally brought every album No Limit put out til P changed the sound & stopped using Beats By The Pound. You can tell his ego took over & he just started putting out trash.
That was the downfall of P career as well as No Limit. He should've never changed his sound. Then he tried to save face when his albums starting bricking saying, he wanted to go a new route knowing it was his fault that he let Beats By The Pound leave
I'll never forget, which two, bacc-to-bacc releases put the nail in the coffin (IMO)...Dec '98, when No Limit released Full Blooded "Memorial Day" and then the No Limit "We Can't Be Stopped" Compilation...they were both trash and it left the door wide open for the Cash Money wave to push them out the way❕❕❕
@@mikeeyondon those were def back to back releases. For me it was when they released Mac World War 3 album & P’s Only God Can Judge Me. Esp with P album I knew it was going down cause that whole album he was throwing shots at Cash Money
@@slomotionproductions8005 it was but his ego also played a big part as well. Which is why he kept trying to re-invent himself to sell big again instead of just saying to himself he was wrong & got Beats By The Pound back
May as well charge for the whole interview upfront. I would have paid 4.99 for a monthly subscription to see it. Valad doing for a reason do fall behind.
B High preciate this dope interview. KL is one of my fav producers. Does anybody know how he got the name KLC? I know his name is Craig Lawson, maybe for the LC, bit what does the K stand for lol DOWN SOUTH!!!
If you don’t know BBTP is legendary and nobody ever done what they did .......P knew what they was .....no limit wasn’t no limit until they came on board klc brought all those artists to no limit .....
