Here are a few bedtime Yoga poses you can do, while in your bed to relax the body and mind and to have a restful sleep.
This practice will be very beneficial after a stressful day or as a relaxation after a Yoga workout. For people who suffer from insomnia I would recommend to try out this practice.
Asanas practiced are Legs up the wall pose / Vipariti Karani, Simple seated twist, Supta Baddha Konasana, Hand to Big Toe pose / Supta Padangustasana and Knees to Chest pose / Apanasana.

love the legs up the wall pose, so relaxing and overall a relaxing and calming before bed practice - many thanks

If your legs aren't straight it most likely means that your hamstrings are too tight. Just keep up the practice, it should get better. Try head to knee forward bend too! I am dutch but I lived in Ireland for years. :)

i have been having very bad night sleeps lately... constant tossing and turning and waking up feeling sluggish. i did this video last night before bed and today i woke up shocked. i slept solidly for the whole night and didnt wake up with any muscle aches etc. This will become part of my every night routine!

Just started watching and practicing with your videos today (I'm a beginner, or rather, a returner after 6 years) and you are so calming and helpful. The way you describe poses and breath is so easy to translate into action. With you fat burn video for beginners I felt so unjudged for my out-of-shapeness. It helped me concentrate on doing whatever my personal best is now, not what it used to be or what someone else's is. Thank you!

This is one of the most relaxing and helpful relaxation yoga practices! Esther literally has the most relaxing and peaceful voice and energy. Although I did just do the practice, I sometimes just listen to this video while I'm doing something else, to aid my relaxation and calm mind. Thank you. It is a true gift. Good night

I have already commented but I watch this yoga video for almost a month now and I feel like excercising and doing these yoga poses have been reducing my stress SIGNIFICANTLY. This is really the only bedtime video I think works!

I'm 35 now and trying to rid myself of "cycling disease" - a self-induced condition of tight hamstrings and a stressed lower back. I have been searching for this video for a long time now, lol! I'll try it for a month straight and report back just for the sake of doing it.

I did this and slept SO well. I could have easily slept for 12 hours but I was disturbed around the 9/10 hour mark :) just brilliant, thank you

I'm glad I found your site I'm going to follow.......I was going to a place here in Fort Wayne, IN. but found myself a little out of place lots of young people!! I wish I could find a place here that has some seniors but not one's who do yoga in chairs I like the idea of getting on my mat I'm very flexiable......for my age:)) TKY.
