Its so irritating and interesting how americans generally freak out about boobs and naked people or beeing naked :D i mean in germany someone like miley cyrus or kim kardashian couldnt get this popular beeing that naked all the time. people wouldnt take them seriously and would be kind of turned of and america is the land where probably the most porn comes from (ok mabey japan too :D) and still the behavior around nakedness is prude. maaaabey its because of that! :D nakedness could be related to porn and stuff in your/their eyes? who knows!

My Best Travel experience was staying with a couple in Australia. I worked on their garden and they took me to see deferent places. It was awesome!!! My worst was getting to Paris and realizing I had no money left for a place to stay and almost spending the night on the street derring their rainy season. Yet that was also one of my greatest because of the love and support I received from friends. I had told no one the mess I had put myself and yet out of nowhere I had friends and family send me just what I needed. It goes to show that the support one needs to follow their dreams is theirs if they just start walking.

You're such an inspiration Nadine! My best travel moment of 2015 was my family's trip to Tennessee last May. We stayed in the hilly countryside and you could see the Smokey Mountains in the distance. We also hiked in North Carolinas Smokey Mountains, and I have to say that is one of the most beautiful places on earth.

I went back to New Zealand to see my family and friends for 9 weeks after not being home in 4 years (I've lived in the UK for the last 10 years). It was made extra special because it was the first time my mum, dad, brother, sister and I have been back all at the same time :)

Me and my partner went to his parents in Scotland for new year. Our train journey was meant to take about 4-5 hours. Our train broke down and we were delayed for 3 hours. Once we managed to get onto a train we had 3 trains worth of people on there so we stood the whole time even having booked tickets. On the way back the same thing happened, our train broke and we were delayed again, and once again we have the whole journey back standing up! Apart from that it was good!

Best: Getting to see my friends in Portland and eat all the delicious food. Worst: drinking and then trying to hike the next morning in Yosemite. Never again!

Crossed off one of my dreams from my bucket list. Cashed in all my frequent flyer miles so my sister and I could go to London for Wimbledon! It was amazing.

Love these videos! I think my best was going to the Christmas markets in Hannover and Braunschweig, Germany. Mainly because friends were visiting and one speaks German. So we had a great time catching up and him explaining all the traditions since his family is from there. Worst was in London because it just kept raining! I live in Amsterdam now, but that was ridiculous. Not only that, but the DLR was on strike for two days. Talk about annoying!

In Feb of 2015 I went to Munich for a week and half through my university. Most of our trip was very planned out and scheduled, but we had one free day. On this free day, a bunch of us went and rented BMWs or Mercedes and went tearing around the autobahn! That is the first and only (and hopefully not the last) time that I drove faster than 200 km/h. So much fun!!!

Best - Getting to see the Pyramids in Cairo , such a magical experience :) worst - falling ill in a small town in Egypt and ending up in a crazy Egyptian hospital with no idea what was going on !

Best moments in 2015: Quitting my job as a lawyer in London; taking a flight to Sydney 2 months later and participate to an entrepreneur event with 300 Australian entrepreneurs. Other awesome moment: launching my website and to celebrate it I climbed the Harbour bridge! we had fireworks that night. Best moment ever!!

I know this is a kind of old video but I just found your channel! It's super cool that your family is from Slovakia/the Czech Republic and immigrated to Canada because my Mom's side of the family immigrated to Canada from the Czech Republic too and now I live in Vancouver for university :) I've been catching up on a bunch of your videos because I'm leaving in 2 days for my first solo backpacking trip in Europe. I'm starting in London with very little itinerary and I'm so excited!

Best: village homestay in Laos playing jump rope with the children and finding out how far a smile and a sign language can go for communication across cultures! Worst: Getting seriously sick while trekking and not being able to move for a week. Luckily the guesthouse owner was really nice and gave me my own private room with movies to watch and breakfast which helped a lot! 👌

Worst: I came down with the flu in Hong Kong and the worst part with the deep, painful coughing and the chills and the runny nose hit just as we were leaving. I had to endure an 8-9 hour overnight flight and I can't sleep at all on planes, apparently not even when given overnight cold medicine. I was the sickest I had been since I was a little kid and just at the absolute worst time!

I went to the Dominican Republic with my mom back in May, I'd never been anywhere in or around the Caribbean before so it was so nice to finally experience that! We remained on a resort so it wasn't exactly a trip filled with exploration and culture, but it was filled with relaxation which was exactly what we were after. :) I wish some more travel experiences were in the cards for me this year but it doesn't seem as though I'll have time away from work, unlike last year where I had a month between contracts to do as I pleased.

Best travel moment: would have to be wondering about in the forest in Oslo, Norway when it was snowing and then finding the old ski jump and having lunch at the top looking over Oslo

A great video Nadine! The interesting moment of yours made me laugh so much haha And I'm also really proud to hear that your trip to Slovakia and the Czech republic was special because I'm from the Czech republic!! And to add some of my travel experiences. In 2015 I spent 2 weeks in Romania and when we were in the mountains we went around those little stalls and shops where local farmers sell their products such as cheese, salami and sausage. They really wanted you to buy something but they didn't speak english so these sellers just put me some sausage in my mouth to taste it and I almost died because it was made from sheep meat which I hate. Really disgusting experience for me haha

My worst travel experience is similar to one of yours. I went to Lake Tahoe, CA to go snowboarding. All 7 girls had to share one room in our cabin. One of them had the flu and would not stop coughing ALL NIGHT. but thats not the worst part. The next morning we had to wake up super early to go snowboard. It was all fun and great. THEN the next day, I woke up with extremely sore muscles (from snowboarding), a horrible flu(from the sick cabin member & lack of sleep), and my time of month also started all on the same day. My best travel experience was probably my whole trip to London. It started out awful because my luggage never arrived but other than that, everything turned out perfect and it was an amazing trip!

Best: Paragliding in Vik, Iceland. Worst: Attempting to drive from London to Stratford-Upon-Avon without a proper map or GPS while having a really bad case of the flu :(

Oh my gosh Nadine! I was in the same boat as you! For the first day of 2015 I had the WORST food poisoning of my life in the Philippines, plus being hung over from the New Years party the night before it was just horrible 😩

BEST: I traveled to South Africa last summer and in Kruger, on a night tour, we witnessed a leopard up in a tree chowing down on an antelope it had caught for itself! Oh, I also saw the Big Five TWICE before 9 AM. How crazy is that? Definitely my most favorite traveling moment.

I would say one of my best travel moments of 2015 has to be me going to Vidcon 2015 and meeting you and chatting with you twice Nadine ;-) Looking forward to seeing you there again this year ! Worst ? Well, not so much worst but Rome was probably one of my least exciting trips but that was 100% my fault. I had 1 weekend to explore and what did I end up doing ? Only seeing the stereotypical tourist attractions which for me isn't that satisfying as I prefer to see cool obscure parts of the places I visit.

Worst: My hotel in London lost the 2 suitcases that contained pretty much everything I owned in them the day before I was setting off on a four month trip.Best: Cage diving with great white sharks in South Africa! I'm a marine biologist and this was #1 on my bucketlist

Worst: I was at the Colombo airport (Sri Lanka) and at the check in desk I discovered that my flight for Dubai was the day after, because I messed up with the reservation. A super kind guy managed to move my reservation with no additional costs, but that's not all: the day after I was supposed to fly back home in Milan after 9 months traveling, but in Dubai, again at the check in desk, I discovered that my booking was cancelled because my bank refused the payment, but I didn't receive any email about that! So I had to book another super expansive flight to finally go back home! Best: all of the rest of the travel :) Xx

Best was traveled Thailand and Singapore with a best friend for a month and went to the full moon party which was so much fun and worst was we both got e coli poisoning and were sick 3 of the 4 weeks we were away and now i still can't eat Thai food :(

Best: I went to the maldives this year! Never thought id go but my family surprised me and we went over Christmas flying with emirates through Dubai and staying in a 5 star island resort which is probably the best experience of my life and will be for a long time! Worst: Flying to NYC in october on an old British airways plane that had TV's which didn't work, a seat which didn't recline and was lumpy and old and also to top it all off I was sat inbetween 3 screaming babies the whole entire flight. It was all worth it for NYC but still it was horrible !! Also you might not remember me but I saw you at the loony dook in south queensferry :) Love your vids!!

2015 I did not travel but2014 was best year of my life I traveled and lived in (all USA) kingsland Ga New Orleans LA (yes for all of mardi gras) Denver CO las Vegas NV stopped at both grand canyon and Hoover Dam on the way and los Angeles CA. lived in my92 Lincoln Town car when I didn't have another place to stay in Wal-Mart or truck stop parking lots working primarily at day labor. Seen so many things and places and made so many good friends. what an adventure truly loved it.Would love to travel the world like you.

worst: walking over the border from Nicaragua to Costa Rica with a mean, big, infected blister underneath my foot and sore skin inbetween all my toes. It's a lot of walking. And I ran late so I couldn't make it to my destination and had to stay in a dirty, expensive hostal -.-

I was only able to travel once this year...I went to Morocco which was amazing! Oh my gosh, I ended going to one of the Hamans baths - luckily it was just me and they lady who bathe me...hahah it was weird - thats the only word i can say. I absolutely loved Morocco and so happy I could travel quite a bit around the country in such a short space of time. This year I'm planning trips to Iceland, Malaysia and Canada. SO EXCITED!! x

Best: Travelling to Seam Reap with my best friend and actually seeing Angkor Wat (bucket list)! Also, I was able to witness both winter and autumn during my two weeks trip in Japan. It was definitely memorable since I come from a tropical country and everyday is summer over here. Worst: A taxi driver in Bangkok wanted to con me and my friend by driving to another place when I specifically gave him the address. I even turned on my GPS as I've heard stories bout it. Needless to say, I got pretty piss as he thought he could just con any tourist as he please.

I agree with you about China, I felt that way in Rome! My worst travel experience is either getting Dengue Fever in Thailand. Best is going Paris and seeing Versailles, so much beauty and history. I've just set a video live on my channel about Switzerland, another Best!

Here here to budget airlines! haha! But yes, flew business class one time and it was amazing! Literally fell asleep until we got to Spain from California! It was amazing because I have the WORST luck sleeping on planes! My friend Mika (who at the time worked for the airline hence how I could afford flying business class) refused to go to sleep because she wanted to experience it all...the food...entertainment etc. Do you sleep easily on airplanes?

By far the worst: getting off at the wrong station in Lithuania which left us in the middle of NOWHERE. Best: doing backpacking for her first time! In the baltics :D

My traveling was much less exciting and pretty much stayed in the Okanagan Valley haha. Best was probably Christie Falls in Kelowna because the hike was crazy, the waterfall was beautiful and we got to rope swing into it. Worst I would say..Frog Falls in Revelstoke because we drove all the way there, spent hours on crazy service roads, finally got there once it was dark only to find out we were at the TOP of the waterfall and couldn't see anything, and of course couldn't find our way down river in the dark - super disappointing.

In 2015 , I went to Hawaii. Best thing was jumping off a 30 foot high cliff into the water below. Worst was being told that I was not going parasailing.

Best: On a 6 week trip to Europe I went mountain roller coaster down a ski slope in Mutters, Austria during the summer Worst: during that same trip, we were flying from Budapest to Barcelona and got to the airport 3 hours before our flight to wait in line to check in, after an hour we were told to go wait in another line then come back to that line, after about two hours of waiting in lines we finally checked our bags and were yelled at to get to the airport earlier (all of this was at 4 in the morning) then having to run to catch our flight, and when about to board I was told my purse needed to be checked

Best: Volunteering in the Dominican Republic, Snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef, Turkish baths (I personally LOVED it! I thought it was so calming and just a wonderful experience), the beauty of Santorini, and Shibuya 109 in Tokyo Worst: The dirtiness of Athens, when a kid in the DR thought I was joking about my fear of spiders and threw a giant one at me and had a panic attack, and also being on my period and not having toilets, having to leave the DR after the two most amazing months of my life.

Worst when i went to utah and i sprained my hip.. i had to stay in the car for the next 2 days while everyone was inside the national parks.

I was on an empty, moored ferry in Bangladesh shooting a scene for a documentary and after about an hour or two suddenly the boat started moving... the ferry official helping us yelled to me and my team to grab our stuff and run so we sprinted through this ferry, running up stairs, down stairs, left right, banging into walls, as the ferry banged into other ferries pushing it's way out. We finally got to the end of the boat and it was a dead end, we were stuck... until the official spotted a gap in the end of another ferry and told us all to jump. So as the gaps in the railings lined up, all 5 of us had to jump from one moving ferry to another across a 2 metre gap down to the water 10 metres below. We ran through that ferry and managed to get off safely, most adrenaline filled 5 minutes of the trip!

What a rollercoaster of a year! So sorry you missed out on the hot air balloons in Cappadocia. We were not prepared.

Loved hearing your yearly recap! :D My best travel moment of 2015: booking a super last minute trip to Barcelona Worst: Being in London with only pants (no shorts) in July when it was 37 degrees C/99 degrees F Interesting: having 5 different roommates in our Vienna hostel room in a span of only 3 days xD So bizarre-- there was one open bed, and some people just paid to use the bed during the day and would leave. Never experienced that before! haha

great video nadine :) my best travel moment was my first indonesian wedding (and first wedding ever) on Java and the worst was travelling from karlsruhe to aachen with the bus and from aachen to oldenburgh with the "deutsche bahn"... they always too late and thats so annyoing! usally we germans are famous for our punctuality but nevermind... :D

I went on an orchestra trip to Spain and on the layover flight back, I threw up twice. :( fun times. This was last Tuesday, so I still have to clean up my jacket gah

Hahaha your last story reminded me of when I was in Iceland. I went to some random pool in Reykjavík with my buddy and a guy we met at the hostel, but you have to shower before you go in the pool! Which is all well and good, because I figured there would be individual shower stalls haha. But nope, just a big wide open room with a bunch of shower heads and you had to get completely naked with a bunch of other guys and clean yourself up... Super awkward at first, but hey, i guess it's all part of the travel experience right? Hahah.

I would have freaked out in the Turkish bath... I just hate seeing people naked and being naked myself haha :P But my worst from this year is being sick as well. I went to the Philippines in December and got sick before I went but since I had already paid I decided to go anyway and I wasn't sick enough to miss out on everything. I got better while I was there but on our day that we flew back, I got a fever and sick again! When I got back home I stayed in bed for a few days and got better! Then 5 days later... it's Christmas eve and I start getting sick again... I was almost going to have to go to the ER but ended up going to a doctor on Christmas Day. Then I was in bed for about 5 more days and it was just really hard. So I understand your pain with sickness problems! Being sick while traveling is NO fun. Best from this year: Being able to travel so much this past year, with friends and family.

my best travel moment of 2015: exploring Singapore i love this city its so different to all the european cities! my worst travel moment of 2015: when i backpacked in new zealand and had no access to any money for a week. so i sleept in my car but it was kinda good so not realy my worst moment :D my sadest moment of 2015: when i had to leave new zealand in march after travelling for a whole year! i really like your videos
