I love how Leviathan, this giant demon whale that can fly, is so irrelevant to the main story. No character talks about it, they barely pay any mind to it and it's just kind of there as a mild inconvenience to Dante. At most Lady goes "Huh, ain't that some shit."

Another thing I love about this game is that it seems like every time Dante does something cool, it's always immediately undercut. Leviathan here being the most notable example, but also when he puts on his jacket, then sneezes as his store crumbles. Little stuff like that makes him super endearing

Brian. Jr Montoya I've always thought so too, they act far more like siblings or good friends than lovers. It's far less creepy that way too. It could go either way with Lady and Dante, if they ever showed any actual interest in one another.

No one ever talks about Dante breaking the fourth wall and saying "So this is the next stage?" but I find it fucking hilarious. It's the ultimate 'Dante doesn't care about what's going on' moment where he's just looking at it all like a big game, literally.
When you realize we have confirmation that both Vergil has gotten laid because Nero exists, and we know Nero has gotten laid because of the vibrator devil breaker that got announced, but we have zero idea if Dante ever has because his options are Lady who couldn't have less interest in him short of being a lesbian and Trish who is his Mom's clone.
I really still don't get that. Vergil's the one who is all "humans are stupid, and being a super-demon-cool-guy is the best way" and yet is also the one who somehow managed to get laid?
The only hint at Dante getting laid is his Lucifer speech in DMC4 and even that could just be his brand of humor... unless Dante has the most sex of the entire cast but he also practices safe sex.
That's a reference to how Nico is a replacement for the statues. Though that might just be for Nero's campaign. Not sure how it will go for Dante and V.

godila2 Well, one's an older Dante with more abilities up his sleeve compared to DMC 3's Dante, and the other is a whole different person that's not connected to the main DMC universe. But really though, fall damage shouldn't be an issue for Dante. So I'm sure he'll be fine even after a fall from that height. Heck, he just got up from a fight with Vergil and being stabbed by Yamato.

Woolie, for the Dragon Rush damage increase you can simply hold down the throw (L+M) during the animation to get the exact same result as mashing, no one mashes. Hope this comment actually reaches you.
I legit didn't know that playing on Turbo Mode made mashing out the Crazy Combos harder to do. I guess that explains why my hands always hurt after playing DMC3 for more then 2 hours.
Turbo makes anything that requires precise frame inputs to become far harder due to the speed increase. It's why mashing out Million Stab and Royal Guard attacks are basically impossible without hours of practice and a few dozen ice packs.
actually no,the hd collection has input lag which can only be fixed by the style switcher mod to reduce the amount of buttons required for crazy combos.In the original pc versions of dmc 3 and pcsx2 one,its fairly easy to do crazy combos in turbo mode when compared to the collection,i and many others have noticed this problem in consoles as well.If these overpowered crazy combos ever come back in a future dmc game,they should decrease the input required or be similar to dmc se on ps2 to still give you that immersion feel of whaling on the enemy.Nevan's crazy combos forexample are so satisfying to use if you know how to handle her

This if anything, implies the very opposite of being unimpressed or poor performance on Nero's part. He's actually _too much_ for the job, and as a result there needs to be an established middle ground so Kyrie doesn't experience anymore "hip and shoulder pain" and still "relieve tension". you were talking about "subconsciously tapping into DTs" earlier, so use your imagination in nero's case

27:10 The DMC anime pretty heavily implies that Trish is basically a caretaker for Dante, when Trish isn't around in the anime he's living in a pigsty and his personality has dulled due to supposedly depression.
His personality dulled due to crap writing. Apparently Dante as he was in the game was too unique for the writers to understand, so they took away all of his personality in favor of portraying him as a generic "stoic" character.

"About 6 hours" 6 hours of grinding past all the gamplay before and still not everything is unlocked or bought. And people say that Capcom is gonna make DMC5 unlocking grindier due to the microtransactions to unlock all skills and upgrades. Guys, it's just for those that want to immediately go for crazy combos and style without having to grind for tens of hours
Yea but you can't be sure that they don't make it harder for them to drop or if they drop less of them or if they bump up the prices just to make it a bit more tempting to buy them because we don't know the numbers before the microtransactions and alot of people just don't trust game companies to not be greedy scumbags. But I am hoping that it is just there for people that just wana have everything off the bat, tho in the old days those were called cheats and we didn't have to pay for them.
Not that their word is Absolute *But* Capcom has stated that the Microtransactions in DMC5 will function the-same-as/similarly-to-how they did in DMC4SE where they were Single Purchase Packs of Orbs and Other Items.
DT Explosion (Transformation Flux) Is extremely useful. It more than worth the expense of the devil trigger meter. Properly timed, you do more damage, build more style, and kill more enemies in the explosion that you do fighting in devil trigger.
The best part of this game is the fucking moment where Dante makes the whole massive tower shake, and there's that one cut to Vergil and Arkham just glancing around in silence. The timing is too hilarious.
Well according to that one mobile game with the cutscenes that probably should have been in 4, Lady and Trish basically just hang out with Dante and roll with his BS (hell they reuse Lady’s animations from that cutscene in stage 6). Personally I think they’re just a bunch of goofballs by part 5.
Trickster does not help you maintain Style by negating damage but instead increases Style for negating damage because whenever you dodge any attack (ie go through the hurtbox) using a dash or Sky Star you gain style points. On top of that it increases your mobility enabling you longer and more complex air combos and thus more jump cancels meaning you can get style points faster than any other Style save for RG Also Pat you're wrong. Guard cancelled Spiral offers the highest DPS possible which is really handy for bosses you don't want to fight in DMD
Now THIS is the kind of episode I like to watch. At some point, Woolie and Pat decided to start having cheap fun with this game and the rest of the franchise. I hope they keep this lighter tone. Though, I imagine they won't be able to during the lead up to any scene where Vergil does something.
I appreciate how much Pat loves and knows this game. I'm actually rather jealous of his puzzle-unrelated skills. I don't envy his sense of direction though.

1. It’s because atheism sons of Sparda are embracing there demon side which is why they get stronger. That’s a reason Vergil won, since Dante was not. 2. Again the teleport is only behind an enemy in Marvel Woolie. 3. The dash is the signature trickster move Woolie. 4. DT’s gives a speed and attack boost in 1 as well. 5. Alfheim’s are in no way easier. Several of them you have to backtrack the entire level at a specific point in it or it won’t appear. 6. The Beowulf adjudicator is to make sure that you picked up the weapon in that level, because you can miss it and don’t get it like other weapons.
25:20 funny enough in mission 3 if you inspect the right side of the first alleyway before going into the bar, Dante remarks that it looks like everyone either “fled the city or...” as he put it.
And the strip/hostess club (Love Planet) has a hidden message about blood marks on the floor - they imply that someone was dragged behind the curtains (then killed by demons). I think you have to inspect the small balcony above the exit.
So, Woolie uses RG in this game but rarely uses DTE? Dude, combining a perfect release with DTE and watching a boss health bar just melt is the best. I mean, play how you like, but that's definitely worth trying.
