Workout At Home in a Small Space!
Make sure to have lots of water with you during this workout, it will challenge you to new levels!
If you are used to working out with me, you are used to a 40s exercise time and 20s "rest" of walking. In todays video we will be doing 30s exercise (pushing it to the LIMIT) then 10 seconds rest. This means that you have less time to recover, which will help you burn more fat during the workout and afterwards!
If any of the moves are too fast or too challenging for you just go back to a walk. Our goal is to keep our heart rate elevated so that the burn is at its MAX!
Make sure to have a healthy nutrition plan to support this workout routine! And make sure not to overeat to overcompensate for the calories burned. Calories burned is just a reference for you to see how much energy you used to do the workout!

One of the reasons I love you so much is you don't push burpees on people. I HATE burpees. And for a very long time, they were like a main dish in the training world. Another reason I love you- and your workouts- is: I AM HAVING FUN. Who knew? Thank you for all you do. My body is changing and getting stronger without me hating the process.

I've been training with you for a month now and I have to show off the results! I have lost 5 kg and 8 cm in the waist and I am very proud of myself. I also started eating healthier and drinking plenty of water. I eat a lot of protein and I haven't given up on what I like to eat and it feels sooooooo good! if youre anything like me you might be looking through the comments instead of actually doing the workout. i would just like to let you know that this 30 minutes of workout is time better spent then being in bed for 30 mins mindlessly scrolling. good workout and great feeling.

@@sakshidongre9507 My watch showed 380, but I am almost 100kg and heart rate was high. I also think my watch overestimates the calorie burn, so I'd say substract 20% off that.

@@astridlopez7576 I did the 4.5 miles and also the 3 miles walk the weight off.I did it Monday thru Friday. I also incorporated a weight routine and additional tummy n leg exercises. Don't forget a good diet. I had a smoothie for breakfast, avocado n egg for lunch and salad for dinner.Hope this helps🙂🙂

I started doing this workout on Jan 1 of this year, I was at 231. I would eat some junk food but I did stop drinking soda which I felt helped a lot when losing weight. By January 20, I went down to 224, then by February 1, I was by 215. I did stop for a while because I returned back to school and commute was so long, but getting back to it, I am confident of getting to my weight goal

This workout is the truth! I’ve gone through it only twice but I definitely feel the amazing results because I end up drenched with sweat each time, and I feel my abs working. Your workouts truly works . I have only been training with you for 3 weeks going into 4 and I see a tremendous change . My back fat for one is going away and my belly is coming down to. I thought that I would have to have a tummy tuck after having 4 children but I see right now staying consistent is the key . I don't miss not one day and not trying too . I have tried other workout on here and it just is not as effective as yours . All I can say is that when I started I was weak and now I am becoming stronger every day working out 7 days a week one time a day usually at night after work. Thanks to God and u I am going to have my body back after 20 years and my confidence.

I just did this for the first time thinking before it started ”no sweat, it’ll be easy” but oh my, the shorter 10 sec rest makes a huge difference! Man, I was running with sweat and nearly did stop but I pushed on through! 💪🏻 I loved it! i swear I feel leaner after just one workout! More tabata please Jo, awesome 🥰🤩👍🏼

Every time you “talk” to us after the workout I always start to cry.. I gained so much weight with the pandemic but also having my baby during the quarantine part in the beginning.. the anxiety mixed with ppd really affected my eating habits and thus led to excessive eating and no will to work… I am in my 2nd week of workouts and I just get so emotional that I finally made it to this point and I look forward to when I can do these with such ease and delight like you do.. thank you for inspiring me and everyone else

Tried Jo's workout for the first time and loved it. I like how she makes the time counter big enough to be seen easily and her choice of the countdown timer and workout progression bar is very appropriate, good contrast against the background. And the mirror to see how the exercise posture looks from the back is genius. I also liked the way she designed the workout for averagely fit people like me who can easily do it and follow along without too much jumping around. And demonstrating the moves from the side, front and back is good. What a refreshing experience!

I love about gwj workout is i never ever developed DOMS(delayed onset muscle soreness) by any of her workout❤.. I switched many times to other workouts but only ended up here after suffering from DOMS😂 So for me it's magic🎉 i lost nearly 25kg 😊 thank you.

You rock!!! I just finished the beginners workout & I almost thought I couldn't push through because I haven't been working out. I'm proud to say I completed & won't stop there. I've gained so much weight & people definitely treat me different. I have a weakness for sugar & is trying to cut it. I just want to be back to myself, I know people will still talk no matter what but at least this time they can talk about my weight loss. Thanks for making these workouts for woman. Did this workout this morning and my abs are currently on fire 13 hours later lol. I truly enjoy that we do stand up ab workouts. For some reason I just don't like doing ab workouts on the floor. A very doable, fun and effective workout

I can't wait to do the workout today! I try to give my weight loss update on your new videos Jo to encourage the community as well that you are the real deal, to not give up, consistency is key, and THEY CAN DO THIS! UPDATE: I do a Jo workout daily while incorporating a round of Abs (now 2 rounds). My start weight May 24 was 216.8 (when I actually started taking my weightloss journey seriously). Today I am 199.4! Goal is 140 - 145!

I did my first workout with you today and absolutely loved it!!! The moves were mostly easy in terms of being able to actually do it. But still nothing to play with, I was sweating like crazy and so glad I got up and got moving. You’re smile and energy got me through. I also love seeing someone like me (a woman, a mother) doing this and transforming herself. I can’t wait to see what new content you create ☺️.

I love how you have incorporated videos from your subscribers working out... and they're obviously loving every minute of it!! I've been working out since I was 18 (I'm now 58) and never, even when I was pregnant two times, did I say "I don't have time". If you find someone or something you absolutely LOVE TO DO, it's easier to say "OK, I'm making time at such and such time." From october 2021 to december 2022, I went from 85kg to 47kg by eating too little, and exercising A LOT. I lost my period, lost some of my hair, lost all my energy. I still haven't regained my period, but I gained some weight back, perhaps too much at once, so now I'm trying to find a healthier balance, and your workouts help a TON. They are fun, quick enough to be able to do them every day, and your energy is very contagious! So thank you, really. I'll keep showing up for myself ^-^

Hi! Here’s a recommendation, maybe you shouldn’t do that all in once as you said! Start with some exercise then after you have finished drink some water and eat something like a nutritious bar, or some cereal perhaps? Then maybe if you have more energy do another video! I do 1 exercise a day and my belly has had some difference! Don’t feel guilty if you eat something heavy! It won’t effect you!

@@christi6934 I usually do my “warm up” with her dance party workouts and then I’ll follow up with one of her other workouts I choose at random and it makes it so much fun! I get bored fast when it comes to these things so I love the variety. I’m always sweating so much at the end.. try it!! Good luck!! 😁
