I 100% agree with wearing what ever makes you feel comfortable while going out! I went to a bar last night and I really wasn’t feeling myself. At home I’m always in an oversized shirt and biker shorts so that’s what I put on. Did I look like I was still in my pj’s? Yes! Did I feel great the entire night? Yes! You can always accessories and change the vibe with hair and make up. 10/10 would recommend

the outfit ill always remember is one time i was at a bar and this girl was wearing COW PRINT BELL BOTTOMS and a cute ringer tee. she was playing pool. she looked so cool and comfortable, she definitely turned heads

"has laini lost her spark" NO!! your spark keeps growing!! honestly, when i watch your videos, i tend to feel mostly two ways towards your outfits. it's either "this is absolutely brilliant showstopping revolutionary" and "hmmm, i don't think this really works" and i love that about you. you don't do what everyone else does, you do your own thing even if others don't like it. and that's much more inspirational than a few nice mainstream outfits. even if i don't like an outfit you wear, i'm still excited about it because i can see your personality and your taste in it and it's wonderful! it's exciting to see someone have a different taste, a different perspective. your creativity inspires me. also i love your outfits in this video.

For people asking what to do with pants that don't fit anymore... don't just throw them out! I took mine to my tailor, she undid the side seams, added a thick ribbon, and now they both fit great and look unique :) Highly recommend!

I deleted Instagram at this time last year and haven’t had it since! It’s so much better for my mental health + it inspires me to figure out how I want to dress

Yesss I love challenging myself with different clothes that don't necessarily go together! Sometimes before leaving the house, my mom will tell me "maybe change __ , it looks out of place", but I tell her she'll get used to it in a few minutes. Eventually she actually does like it and tell me I'm fashionable. Don't let anyone discourage you! Don't be shy to stand up for yourself either, it's your style, your choice. Even if they don't end up getting it, it was never meant for anyone besides you.

my favorite way to style flowy midi skirts is very simple but also very me. just a nice fitting baby tee with a color thats either in the skirt or contrasting one of the colors. i usually wear birkenstocks if im going for a super casual vibe, or if i want to be a little more put together ill wear pointed toe flats with the lace up thing over the foot and around the ankle, idk what to call them. my style is really simple and i love it bc i can feel like my outfit is good without too many changes

I thought going out of my comfort zone would make me more fashionable, but it only made me overly conscious and insecure when I was out. I did love putting the outfit together though, I just didn't feel confident. I came to realize that I didn't have to make myself suffer or force myself to "be comfortable". Cuz its all about how your clothes make you feel, and I find that gradually trying uncomfy clothes little by little is better than putting on a whole uncomfy outfit. Thank u for not making me feel alone Laini🙌

laini your "comfortable" outfits are still so eye catching!! they always have a lil twist that screams you! i always try to do that cause i makes me feel condifent to embark on my silly little daily endeavours. but we are such opposites when it comes to pants omg hahaha i always feel so weird when i'm wearing pants... idk if it is bc i haven't found the right pair of jeans/ tailored pants that flatters my body type but i always feel more masculine and not a good way. i love wearing blazers, ties, suit vests and more tradionally masculine items but omg i have such a hard time with pants :-( i feel much more free, careless and self confident on a dress (A-line, flared, 50s,60s,70s dresses, slip dresses) and skirts... anyway love your content soooo much! you're a big inspiration, hope you're having an awesome day girly

Awww the last tip made me smile. I can't remember the last time I went out feeling great but ended up feeling somewhat self-conscious once I left my house, but I know I've been there. You're so right in saying it's not the clothes. It's just the way we feel around certain people and in certain places.

One thing that came to my mind while watching this: Knowledge is power! Learn as much as possible about figure flattery and about the colours that look best on you, and then use this knowledge at your own discretion. I have clothes in my wardrobe that really flatter me all around, and others that don’t, but that I like for other reasons - because they are fun or original or really express my personality. We all have these days that somebody was asking about, those moments when we don’t feel our best. On one of these days, I will definitely choose an outfit that’s ideal for my figure and, above all, one that flatters my face. On other days, when I wake up feeling great and confident, I might choose an outfit that’s a bit less conventionally flattering and more adventurous.

Laini love your vids 💕💕 this is a bit of a weird one, and i don’t know if you’d find it relatable but i’m a skinny girl with big boobs and I always feel so self conscious with my style, because almost all of the trendy style online is for small sized girls. Like I can’t almost ever go out without a bra and this really restricts me when looking for tops for example. Is that something you’d be able to make a video on with some tips on styling and how to cope with the self consciousness? I am sure Im not the only one feeling this way but no ones talking about this 😭💗

if clothes don't fit you anymore, I recommend putting the ones you really like in storage where you won't see them for at least a few years. There was a time when I thought I would never fit into a bunch of my clothes again and gave them away, only to lose the weight a few years later and regret that they were gone. And then I had to buy new clothes all over again. I saw it happen to my bf too with a really perfect pair of jeans. Don't be a total packrat, but save the best stuff if you have the space. Just keep them somewhere where they won't tempt you to feel bad that they don't currently fit.

I just went out in my baggy y2k pants with tight crop top and I felt so good! some years ago it wasn’t possible for me to show any belly skin and infam proud I can now. But even when I wear all baggy I got so many compliments and it is also really because the people in this bar are very sweet and kind :)

What I think would be cute for summery business casual looks is combining a flowy patterned or solid midi skirt or wider leg pants with a cute white or light color professional-looking blouse or shirt. Then you have the fun flowiness on the bottom but still look nice and professional on the top

so random but I always thought you had one eyebrow that was situated higher than the other, I just noticed now that they are symmetrical it's just when you talk sometimes you tense the muscle above your brow and it gives it an arche!! I have the same thing with my left eyebrow.. I recorded myself once and noticed that I talk and somehow only talk with ONE EYEBROW raised?? also love the vid as usual
