Im on a journey to a plant based diet. I say that im on a journey because I still eat eggs and cheese. I still use chicken or vegetable broth for taste with rice or vegetables. I still consume sucralose in my beverages. My goal is no refined sugars and processed foods for weight loss and health. I want to prevent diabetes high blood pressure arthritis and other things as I age

Great information! So knowledgeable! 👏🏾 👏🏾 I’m here for it! I’m just starting this plant based lifestyle. I started out eating low carb and IF. I lost 25 lbs but i hit a plateau and have not seen anymore weight loss in several months. I also strength train and do cardio at least 4 times a week for at least an hour.,Im post menopausal, so I do believe there’s some hormone issues as to why I’m not losing anymore. Your channel gives me inspiration to do this! Thank you 🙏🏾 😊

So awesome. This has truly helped me. I have been doing good being vegan then all of a sudden I started back eating fried chicken,chicken sandwiches from McDonald's. Picked up even more weight.😢 I think it was tons of stress and I don't really have an accountability partner I can glean from. For now I will say you are that partner until I get one. Thank you for encouragement and push girl....

Thank you so much! I've been vegan for almost 3 months. In the beginning I had a plan every day, I loved all the food I made, but then I got so busy with work that I just began cooking meals more quickly and randomly, which resulted in my food being not as good or even as pretty and that discouraged me a bit. I also stopped losing weight merely because I started frying stuff and had more pasta than usual since it was just quicker to make and I was hungry when I came home late from work... Meal prep would've saved me many times, I know that now. I haven't been keeping a food diary but today I will start one, it's definitely time. I've never slipped though, despite having loads of non vegan food in the fridge (my family's, not mine) and having been out to dinners with friends without even telling them I'm vegan (just worked my way through the meals, picking what I could eat) and I'm surprised at myself for that. I used to be a huge cheese lover, I had cravings for it over time, and yet, all I need to do to not want it is remember why I went vegan in the first place. RU-vidrs like you are the biggest source of inspiration and motivation, so thank you for all that you do. ❤️

This was so helpful! Number one really resonated with me. This journey has been so challenging but in spite of the struggle I simply cannot go back to eating the way I did before! @@ChoosingMyHealth Thanks! I decided to start small with some achievable goals for the week. One thing I decided to do and have done every day this week so far is to eat an apple and some carrots with my lunch every day lol. Before the end of the week I also plan to try a green smoothie and do some juicing to use up some cucumbers I have. I’m excited to make plans for next week! 🤓

Great information and video. I'm been vegan for 3 years and I also eat only one meal a day. My biggest mistake is professed vegan food such as Field Roast products . I also fall victim of vegan ice cream. My plan is more plant base less process foods. Just need more info on what's considered plant base? I mean things like peanut butter
