Magic Johnson has to be one of the best because it stuck so hard that people started using it rather than Earvin like it was his birth name (like God Shammgod which actually was that guy's birth name)
Maybe (probably) I suck at editing but I never look past the effort Izzy puts into his. The man deserves recognition for the effort and more so for his persistence and consistency. Here's to you iz!
The Refrigerator The Great One The Round Mound of Rebound Chairman of the Boards The Dream Team/The Redeem Team The Nigerian Dream White Chocolate The Big Fundamental Mr. Clutch/The Logo Joe Cool/The Comeback Kid The Big Dipper Pistol Pete This is a really interesting topic, sports honorifics. Also completely agree about giving yourself a nickname, it doesn't work like that (with a few exceptions)
Oil Can Boyd. One year that was his name on his baseball cards. One guy in my fraternity tried to nickname himself "Bluto" which was totally uncool, so he got nicknamed "Lumpy" instead.
A couple old ones that come to mind: Dick “Night Train” Lane Ted Williams “The Splendid Splinter” Willie Mayes “The Say Hey Kid” Nicknames were better in the print media days.
Prime time, the bus, Broadway Joe, The galloping ghost, night train Lane, Hollywood Henderson, bullet Bob Hayes, slingin' Sammy baugh, Billy White shoes Johnson

Izzy. Your skills are wasted on Bill’s (now) dried up rants. Your immense talent would garner insane views for a comic that isn’t phoning it in. A comic that comes to mind that is NOT overly saturated with clips of his, and has insanely good rants that would make for juicy editing while still being RU-vid approved if you do it right, Matt Mcuscker. Not even sure if that’s how you spell it, but he’s Shane Gillis’ buddy and podcast co-host, but he is just barely starting to get some shine and is on the rise with a steady work ethic. Matt seems like the type that would love your style and wouldn’t copyright strike you I’m absolutely 100% sure that I’m 99% sure. Whoever you choose it’s just food for thought. Pick a comedian, any comedian. You are better than what bill burr has to offer you, and his tired hardly ever trying crap is holding your channel back. 💯 I love Bill Burr for what he’s given us throughout my life, but I wouldn’t tie my prosperity to his distracted meanderings. Much love and respect for your grind. Longtime viewer.
