A buddy of mine is a Sudanese immigrant, and I asked him what he thought about the depiction of "African" "culture" in this film. He said, "imagine a character who always wore a kilt, one of those pointy German helmets, and a shirt with 'Ciao, Bella!' written on it. And imagine that character goes around in every scene saying 'cheerio, old boy--care for a spot of tea?' in a Swedish accent. The depiction 'African culture' in Wakanda Forever is about like that."

This Wakanda Movie contents more stereotypes about Africa than all Tarzan Movies ever made together.

What a very convoluted movie! The part about the landlocked country somehow being able to have a connection to Ocean dwelling people is a real stretch. Since this is an American movie, I was surprised that the chief ocean dweller is named after the Brazilian football star Neymar. Those ankle wings don't look like they could hold the weight of a man. I won't get started on the major nitpicks. Your review was priceless and I laughed a lot! Thank you very much!! 🤣🤣🤣
