Bloodlines is finally back and ready to be played. I started this ROMhack in the 2010s and its had several releases, but this is the first release in ~5 years. I wrote the story, the characters and designed the chapters, and much, much more. And With the help of my dev team and dozens and dozens of hacking community members, this is the result. This is a 19 chapter hack, and while it is far from being a finished product, there is so much to sink your teeth into. The most interesting part of this is that it was made in FE7, as opposed to FE8 which is far better to make rom hacks. This looks amazing! Congratulations, I know this wasn't easy

It almost feels surreal that we get to see Bloodlines again, but I cant tell you how happy I am that it's come back after all this time. Literally can't wait to play this, I know i'm gonna have so much fun tonight experiencing this masterpiece of Fire Emblem fan content once more!

The hand-drawn portrait makes it looks like it came from Brigandine Forsena or the Tactics Ogre series. Very unique, giving them more character. I think more hacks should do this more.

This is the first time i've ever heard of Bloodlines; sense i've never been around a game hack before. Up until 2019 when the world started getting shafted, i started looking into them, finally playing my first a few months later and really liked it, so i'm really liking how this hack is coming along. From someone who knows about a game that's been worked on sense 2010; here's hoping when it's finished, came to an end how you wanted it to be.

I'm especially interested in how there are many different non-human species in here; not even including normal animals like Dewey. Essentially, seeing humans, various kinds of furries/avians and the like, normal animals like Dewey, and even apparently a jellyfish-like creature like Uuni all playable together in a game like this, it's really cool! I will certainly have to check this out! I always loved the less human-looking characters of the Laguz in the Tellius games, but this takes it even further since the Laguz still don't look that different from a human, and I love that! One thing I've always had an idea for regarding Fire Emblem is including more weapons/weapon types that aren't just European or Japanese. I personally thought of Chinese weapons, as well; though how would longtou dazhadao or meteor hammers work in a Fire Emblem game, I wonder? The longtou can be said to sort of look like the bardiche axe with a much longer blade, so maybe that could work, I dunno, lol. Might even have to introduce whole new weapon types for stuff like the meteor hammer, haha.

Been meaning to get back into playing Fire Emblem since the Three Hopes reveal. Now is feeling like the time.

My honest review after finishing bloodlines 3.0: First of all I never got JR.. I was salty about it. The grey units engaged him first and although Bram finished him via sword I don't think it met the qualifications of the "uninterrupted duel" that he wanted. If you are new to this rom, make sure you level Dewey. I left him behind and the final chapter was almost a soft lock as a result. Another advice: Level the thief. There are some crucial items that can only be acquired by stealing, and if you left the thief behind than you aint getting them. I found an immense lack of promotional items. I ended up promoting Frankie, the cavalier, the pig guy, and that is it. I had Bram and Malcolm at lvl 20 by chapter 16. I was hoping I would get to see them promote, but nope. My mages all remained unpromoted. I could have promoted my horse mage, but she was only lvl 11 when I acquired the item so I just didn't. I feel like the prince is way better than her anyway. The first ten chapters are hard. I heavily relied on decent level ups. I ended up resetting my playthrough because my first one had atrocious level ups and made the game basically unbeatable. The first ten chapters are good, but the second group of 9 chapters are way superior. Every chapter has very exciting elements to it. I really enjoyed the boss fight in the second to last chapter (no spoilers). It was a very exciting chapter. This game does a really good job world building. It was only after completing the 19th chapter that I remembered I hadn't even dealt with the primary conflict yet. I seriously think they could do another group of ten chapters surrounding the bird race war, and then a final 10 chapters dealing with Beliarde and the royal family. I am honestly bummed that I can't finish the game.. I really want to see what happens. I got really hooked, but now I am reliant on these guys to finish the project. Fingers crossed!

I remember seeing a demo for the game years ago, and thought it was cool but that I would wait until a full release because I was busy. Been years since then, and this proyect had, I'm not going to lie, completely faded from my memories. But seeing how far has it gone, it's extremely comfy. You made it man, and deserve a full round of applause. Can't wait to try it

It's as if you mix sinbad's travels with pirates of the caribbean, various monsters from various games, put a touch of the hobbit, add laguz and put it all in a fire emblem blazing sword template

Just finished this version. Felt like a new comment rather than editing my old one because WOW. This is easily one of the most polished FE hacks out there. The dialogue was vastly improved from the last version I played, the new chapter gimmicks were really cool and each chapter really felt distinct, and each unit brings something unique to the table that really made it tough to pick one. (Uuni in particular has serious potential, once I get him some Skill, he'll be amazing for shutting down problem enemies. Domingo would be proud.) My MVPs were Bram, Frankie, Agalli, Sadaati, Narbid, and Redahli, though another few chapters and Dewey would've probably been the overall MVP. This hack is kickass, can't wait for the next update.

Been part of the play testing and have to say, this game is looking to be an excellent experience

It's the first time I've heard of an FE romhack and it seems really interesting.

I know basically nothing about this hack, but all the different races by themselves enough to make me want to play it (playable non-human races are something I'm always fond of); it kinda reminds me of Shining Force in a way. Plus that's not even mentioning all the cool and unique shit shown here

Damn it's been like 8 years since you started, looks great. In mGBA, there's a setting called "Enable VBA bug compatibility in ROM hacks," maybe that'll help?
