DC Blue Beetle trailer looks amazing! It's great to see a lesser known hero getting their own movie and the special effects look top-notch. The casting is spot on and I can't wait to see the chemistry between the characters. The plot looks action-packed and I'm excited to see where the story takes us. this trailer has definitely piqued my interest and I can't wait to watch the movie!

Xolo Maridueña is the perfect choice to play Jaime Reyes. Blue Beetle was so refreshing back when he came out, and it’s always been fun to see him pop up in new things. Very excited to see this movie.

Blue beetle has been serving both as a solo adventurer and as a part of teams like the Justice League and the Teen Titans, creating one of the greatest heroic legacies in the DCU. Blue Beetle is a really cool character.

I watched teen titans the judas contract and i remember him volunteering in the soup kitchen so he can get scarab used to people around him. I hope they add aspects like that in the movie.

Y’all ain’t wrong at all. Jaime Reyes is basically what if Peter Parker was Mexican and had the Guyver suit. That’s basically what he is and it’s awesome. The comics have a lot of classic Spidey meets shonen anime stuff going on, and he did so WAY back in 2006-2007. I’m so happy to see Jaime finally have a movie. I’ve been waiting for it since I saw him in Young Justice and got into the BB comics as a result.

Blue Beetle is already cool, but now Jaime can make a freaking *Buster Sword* from FF7!!!! Blue Beetle was one of my absolute favorite characters to play as in Injustice 2, and his character in general was funny and endearing; and somehow they made him even COOLER!

The movie looks very comics accurate. Yes there were 3 Blue Beetles however, there are a lot of references to the other 2 in the film. If you rewatch the trailer again in the last scene the costumes of the first 2 are in the background. Also, Kord industries aka Ted Kord the Silver age Blue Beetle is going to play a role in the story which makes me very happy.

This is the third bus getting destroyed in a superhero film recently. The last one got sliced in half in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Blue Beetle in this film is definitely comic book accurate.

It electrocuted and threw a dude across the room when he was tryna take it off Xolo’s face, it cut a bus in half and the trailer literally says “it’s a world destroying weapon” and “it does what you want and sometimes it doesn’t”, it’s clear all throughout the trailer bruh 🤣

Imagine venom, iron man and green lantern combined that's Blue Beetle. One of my favourite things about the character it's that he doesn't have total control because the "Beetle" is it's own entity and that makes for some pretty hilarious moments

5:29 The first thing I thought of was Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy VII, who has a big ass sword lol. Was watching Akasan's reaction, and he mentioned Power Rangers, which I can see it, and it's cool. "Whatever you can Imagine, I can create" - This reminds me of someone else similar, who's powers got wasted in all of Live action and it still is. Yes, I am talking about Green Lantern. Blue Beetle reminds me of 2 characters Venom (because of a sentient being talking to host) and Green Lantern (because he can create/build anything he wishes for).

My favorite part of the old Green Lantern comics was the way his creative imagination dominated and limited his abilities. Also, he was limited by having to recharge the ring every day and by the imperative to do right. (Overpowered superheroes are much less interesting.) The need for imagination and the limitation from the power coming from outside himself are incorporated into this character too. And this appealing young character and his loving family are inherently more promising than Hal Jordan ever was. So, elements from anime, Venom, Iron Man, Spider Man, Green Lantern…this looks great.

In the universe of Blue Beetle that I know the basic understanding of the character is to think of it like a Venom situation, where the suit and powers come from an alien race to invade and need a host. Idk if that’s what’s happening here but that’s just best to my knowledge

Blue Beetle is one of the coolest and most underrated DC characters that has been around in DC content and media for a long time, especially the animated content like Young Justice, Batman: The Brave and the Bold, the DC animated movie universe, etc. More so than Spider-Man, he gives me even more vibes of a mix between Iron Man (for the suit vibes), Green Lantern (for the constructing weapons aspect), and Venom (for the parasite/alien being that gives you powers and tries to control you)
