Welcome to our new VLOG on here! Vlog 43!
Today you join us on the river weaver as we start to embark on our journey to freedom. We head off towards Marsh lock where we will eventually be escorted onto the Manchester ship canal.
We are so excited to be getting ready to leave the river and embark on our journey via the Manchester ship canal with our pal boating David on Snowgoose.
Thank you for watching us on our canal journey and stopping by and we hope you enjoy our Northern humour on our narrowboat.

so funny to see your faces together when you say we're really excited - cos we can tell you are but Tony keeps his excitement hidden! and my husband likes how you get so excited about all the different wildlife you see - everybody needs to enjoy what's going on around them like that.

Hi Helen Tony and not forgetting Capt, Bruce. I missed you yesterday as we were at my daughter's and it was quite late when we got back . So you're going on to my old stomping ground the MSC.We used to enter at Eastham and had a Pilot all the way to Salford docks.I know that they are closed now and turned into a glitzy Media centre.Back in the day all ships that were too tall for the bridges would have to remove part of their funnels and lower their telescopic main masts before proceeding up the canal. There was a special wharf just past Eastham to do this.I hope you are all doing well ,I cant wait to see you trying out the Paddleboard , that should be a bundle of laughs.I posted on Patreon about my travels as you asked but part one of 3 is missing so I'll post that today.Nice vlog Helen ,I hope you're foot is better,you can't Paddle with a wonky foot. Tony should drag you along in that trolley. Make life easy, but not for Tony. You wore out that boat lift, now you've beggered it through over use. As you were going through the lock, my battery ran out and I had to pause until I recharged it. But I guess you have experienced battery failure Helen, just as things get exciting... 🤪 and I'm not talking about your phone.... I'm talking hair straighteners, or am I? How come you are left on the boat and the boys get to go to the pub? I hope you got a home delivery. A pie and a pint from the Cow on the Hill, and I'm not describing the pub landlady. When you get on the Ship Canal, look out for my mate Hugh who works on a barge along there. You'll recognise his boat, it's called Anchor. If you see him give him a shout... "Hugh Anchor".
