Strategic news global is doing great job of bringing military generals on forum to discuss matters of national importance.

My view, the Chinese have a habit of patrolling across the LAC, not the Indians, correct? What stops them from disappearing everytime they do that? Plausible deniability and message is sent. Let them come, let these guys go missing, eventually, they either start a war, for which they will be responsible in diplomatic circles, or they stop! The point is, as long as Indians don't go to their side of the LAC, Indian soldiers don't go missing, right? Countries like China need to be dealt with hard power, they only respect strength. After their casualties in Ladakh, I am sure their opinions have changed about India. Sure, they can venture in, but whether they will be able to venture out is another issue all together. The point is impose a cost - if they come in and walk out, they do not have the fear factor, they come in and do not go out, others coming in will have that fear factor. India needs that fear factor and that needs to be done through imposition of heavy costs unto them. It's not like people won't die, at least they are dying for a purpose and direction. Better dying in a fight then dying in the cold when the Chinese release the flood gates or use nailed bats.

In the noisy times of TV news its a relief to see such informative programmes with good Subject matter experts. You are doing a great job of informing our countrymen with good informative maps and brilliant guests, please keep it up. On a side note, a small complaint would be this episode kind of digressed from the actual middle sector as compared to the earlier 2 episodes. Would have loved if you focussed to share more info on the middle sector as this is one of the less well understood part of the India China dispute.

My question to our Generals is do we have enough troops with replacements to fight two front war in all sectors with our enemies. The problem with this program is no one interacts with viewers.

I very much loved the suggestion on border management that we should make it known that any incursion or intrusions on the perceived line of control will be dealt with decisive action militarily. But will our govt deliver on this remains to be seen.

I really enjoy the format & listening to the various experienced military guests. This helps someone like me, who lives overseas, just what is going on & where it's going on. I'm not quite sure as to why it's going on. I think it might be as some kind of distraction to China's efforts & failures elsewhere. But that's just a guess.

I think it will be a grave mistake on our part to write off chinese threat from any theater of action. As is their proxy nepali oli is creating issue with lepulekh pass and they have also started amassing troops there. Lizard can do any kind action misadventure at any sector so it is in our best interest to be vigilant at all times.

However, please note that 1- there are too many places mentioned in rapid succession and therefore, instead of focusing on showing faces, maps should be shown and be frozen for proper understanding 2- voices of both the Generals are not very clear many times. Indian army should have a plan formulated to retake all of aksai chin. at this time india should embark on massive arms development and acquisition with Russia as partner and at the same time use France/ Israel as development partners like they did with Barack 8 and Brahmos. Partner with France and next gen version of Rafael or partner with Russian on SU-57.

Well said...There can not be any compromise on borders. Borders and areas are the assests of the local people. They must be gaurded. Of late We must also get back the compromised/ lost strategic sectors and areas.

The biggest mistake of the regime here was asking the forces from chinese intruded points to back to their positions and again reporting it to the nation as brawl/violence at borders is spineless. The army should have been asked to stay put at all forward positions and really our forces could had pushed back the occupation forces back to 1962 agreed LAC. Now policy makers here are pushing for acceptance of April 2020? status quo, funny! Doing it would have blocked many future conflicts and give a less unclear situation for our forces at borders. What to say, they have gathered tanks to large battalions months earlier to the conflict and India here just have started to declare their military ammunition manufacturing policy.

Wonder why the matter is always someone taking away our land & we left with planning how to defend our territory. Why can't it be vice-versa? Why didnt we intrude across LAC & hold down territory as per our stated boundary? Why not in the 70 long odd years go across loc & reclaim our own territory? What are we waiting for? Pakistan aarti utaar ke amantran dega ki chalo aap aajao aur lelo aapka zameen? Why are we always concerned with defending our territory whereas our frickin neighbours always thinking of taking away our land? When will this change? It has to be vice-versa. Correct, India need to push LOC west wards get back Gilgit-Baltistan area. This will stop China's influence into Arabian and Pakistan's free resources. Cut the snake off in the middle.. War in the middle sector is unlikely as china is only interested in accessing bay of Bengal and arabian ocean for its business interests.war in the middle sector doesn't serve that purpose.

It was called new territory because it was the last territory in the west of China that was conqured by Manchurian as an foreign ruler. Xin Jiang has been part of china since Han dynasty when Chinese defeated Huns. It was given a name as Xi Yu Du Hu Fu. So new territory was relative to Manchurian as foregin ruler, not to Chinese.
