I must be getting old because I'm not seeing the fun in drinking to the point of passing out in a gutter. I know the alcohol is cheap but that doesn't mean you should drink to excess. A bucket of KFC fried chicken is relatively cheap here in the U.S but I'm not eating a bucket of chicken everyday for dinner. A lot of you binge drinkers are going to need liver transplants before your 50th birthday if you make it that long. My father died from cirrhosis of the liver at just 71 as a result of over 50 years of daily drinking. He wasn't a binge drinker, he never drank to the point of being falling down drunk but it still caught up to him. I've seen the effects of jaundice when your liver starts failing and the domino effect on your other organs, namely your kidneys, because the liver is working at maybe 25% of it's capabilities, so I'm speaking from first hand knowledge. Time is our most precious commodity, not money. I've never heard of anyone wishing they had more money when told they have months to live. These guys and girls are putting in overtime working to shorten whatever time they've been allotted by binge drinking in the name of "fun". I just don't understand why...
