Bringle Reacts to Mario and Luigi Brothership! 

Less than a year and we get: ground up remake of Mario RPG, ground up remake of TTYD, and a new Mario & Luigi game. After a good decade of drought, Mario RPG fans are eating so well and I am glad to see it.

I feel like this was a retread on Superstar Saga's focus on Mario and Luigi specifically. Like they went back to Bros Attacks that focused on them and their bond, and the title really feels like they want to flesh out the bond between them that was shown on Superstar Saga

This game is so awesome! Not only does is seem super faithful to its predecessors, but it also seems like a true evolution of the formula at the same time! I feel like that should be celebrated!

Looking back at the possible big baddie, they look like they’re a wire cutter or cut wire. The bow tie thing is a wire cutter at least and if you look at their hat, it resembles a cut wire! Very clever design

I’m not sure if anyone has notice but in 2:20 Mario an Luigi’s buttons are A and B as classic but at 5:33 we see them with X and Y buttons so either the game lets you interchange them so it fits your style or some moments the buttons change automatically.

My favorite is Partners in Time, I love all of the interactions between the babies and the bros. And just enjoy the gameplay and progression of that game in general.

I think this art style is pretty accurate following the natural evolution going all the way back to the og superstar saga. M&L always had super expressive versions of the bros and this is great and capturing that same feeling again in a fresh new way

I'm so happy about this release, the artstyle looks so expressive and fun, the perfect modern iteration for mario and luigi! Also I'm loving how nintendo recently just announces games half a year before they release, instead of teasing us with a COMING SOON that kills my hype (looking at you beteshda with elder scrolls VI)

I know you are the thousand year door guy and I LOVE that game that’s what has led to me watching every one of your videos and checking daily for your new videos… but for your channels sake especially in the aspect of growing I do think it’s smart to slowly increasing diversity of content so you can branch out without isolating the original fans you brought it. I know you are smart and are figuring it out! Us true bringle fans will stick with you while you are figuring those things out!

this might be the greatest year for mario rpg fans. I have been begggging for a new mario and luigi game / paper mario game (real) and this looks like its finally being faithful to the formula. SO excited. Superstar saga and brothers in time were insane

I've never played or watched any of them and I really enjoy your presentation style, I just think it would be cool to have all of them on the channel eventually.

I am ABSOLUTELY all for you doing the M&L stuff. They are pretty simple and linear games and they’re not super difficulty intensive but they are really fun and solid games. Your input and commentary would be awesome and believe it or not there are not many with the M&L niche, so it would be a nice idea to be the "Mario RPG" guy so it’s not just TTYD. I mean obviously TTYD is YOUR game. But you obviously love the M&L games just as much. I share pretty much 100% the same thoughts as you. All of them are amazing, even the weaker ones like Paper Jam despite their disappointing points. Barely anyone knows about the Superstar Saga remake so that’s a nice way to start. Although recording or emulating 3DS miiiiiight be a challenge. Either way! I hope you consider this comment, from someone who really enjoys your content to put in the background, relax and enjoy Mario’s easy-going adventures to forget this pain called daily working life

I’d love to see you try Mario and Luigi challenges or SPM/PM64 challenges. If you want a suggestion, once the PM Remake videos are done, maybe you should try some of the 64 rom hacks?

I would love to see you do more Mario rpg challenges other than ttyd. Don't get me wrong I love you're ttyd challenges, I just want to see what you would do with games like Mario RPG, Bowser's Inside Story, or hell even Paper Mario 64 or Super Paper Mario (yes there's challenges people have done in that game including myself lol). I'd 100% be down to watch you play games from the Mario & Luigi series, especially if you came up with self-imposed mini challenges that change after each major boss so your playthroughs would feel unique and still reminiscent of your Paper Mario challenge runs! I know the TTYD remake just came out so there's a lot to experiment with for now, but it may be quite a while before we see a new entry in the Paper Mario series so it'd be nice to have another series of content along side it c:

My theory is that it works with the UFO mechanics, where they can hook up in someway and combine. Remember these are extension cords people, and cords can slot themselves into other cords, so what if the mechanic is more combining the two bros?

This is by far more insane than TTYD remake, because I know Nintendo takes effort in preserving whatever games they can, meaning I doubt they wouldn’t remake a Paper Mario game after SMRPG remake and PM64 port for the expansion pass, meanwhile a lot of us assumed the M&L was dead, so the fact we actually have a new M&L on the level of this is insane and completely unexpected

I had a lot of fun with the first two Mario and Luigi games. Never finished Bowsers Inside Story. I just got kinda burned out on it. But this looks a lot of fun. I'm sure I'll be playing this one.

It’s crazy how the Direct started immediately with Mario and Luigi as the opening game! It set the tone for the whole direct, which were all good!

I’ve been hoping and begging for this for YEARS! The gameplay and animations are so faithful to the other games and I just can’t WAIT to play this game! The only thing I’m skeptical about is the music… not sure if Yoko Shimomura worked on it this time, which would be a shame.

I feel like Mario and Luigi Basic Attacks and Special has a cool Brother Skills twist to their movies.
