I can't thank you enough for this video! I have a PE800 that has sat in a box for over a year because it embroidered horribly right out of the box. I adjusted tension and it didn't help. Finally, after watching your video I adjusted BOBBIN tension and it works beautifully! I am SO happy. This was an expensive machine and was useless until now. I even called the company and they couldn't help me. I cannot believe it was so easy and took minutes to fix. Thank you so much. You have made a huge impact on me!
Omg, you are the absolute best! This fixed my problem. I’ve been trying to fix my machine for weeks. I never would have figured this out on my own. Thanks so much for sharing. 🥰
I was having a lot of trouble with my se 270d tension. You pointed me in the right direction and now I can finish Christmas for my both my nieces THANK YOU for keeping it very simple.
OMG I can't wait to get home and try this. I have been so bummed cuz I can't do anything with my embroidery machine. I have the Brother LB7000. So now knowing that I can take that plate off and get to that bobbin..... fingers crossed this fixes the problem.
Thank you Chelita. I have had the very problem with a different Brother machine but the solution of course was identical. I can now get back to some projects. I can't remember anything specifically happening that might have caused it but a half turn to tighten and all is well again. My saviour!
Do I have to use 90wt thread? I have 60wt and the bobbin thread keeps showing on top. I bought my PE770 second hand and they had the tension as -8. I put it to 0 and that's when it kept showing the bobbin thread on top. Before I adjusted the tension only a few stitches would work and then the stitches would stop working, the bobbin thread wouldn't stitch with the top thread. Will try adjusting in like this video.
When I had that problem I changed the the bobbin thread from 60 to 90 and it's prefect it looks that in mine the #60 thread does not work at all even thou it came in the box with the machine and I just upgraded to a new one and the same problems..
I have done this many times and have helped with my issues but lately I put my bobbin and it shows on top of the design, I have done everything and it still happens, or my machine stitches without picking up the thread or the upper thread breaks :(
hello.. i have the same isue on my brother 2500.. the bobbin tread coming up .. but the adjustment on the bobbin case have green colour silicone so I can't adjust it .. how to do
I thought this would be my solution for my brother se625 but when I took out my bobbin case the tension screw is GLUED by what looks like Brother! Im lost at what to do !
Did you ever figure it out? My new Brother SQ 9310 also appears to have glue or something covering the majority of it...its green. Im afraid to try to scrape it off. I don't know how else to adjust this though. Adjusting the top isn't doing the job, and im new to sewing and getting really irritated!
If it's a brother pe700 you would adjust the bobbin tension the same way she shows on this video. First try checking the tension on your top thread. If your top thread is too tight it can cause the same issue. If your bobbin thread is still showing on top. Then follow the instructions on this video to adjust your bobbin tension.
So it would be much different on your Bernina machine. If you've already tried adjusting your top tension. For bobbin tension Bernina offers different bobbin cases. You might need to use a higher tension bobbin case. Or your current bobbin case might be defective and need replaced. Or you just need to make sure the bobbin area is clean and dusted out. Here's a link to a video that gives instructions for a Bernina you might find helpful. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Nk6Dhnf9INo.html
