English subtitles are available. This is a complete build of ICM Battle of the Marne 1914 in 1/35 scale. This is truly a complete build that include a diorama. Enjoy
Dear Sir I am currently locked in combat with cancer and glad to say holding my own. I am an avid follower of your work and a great admirer of your skill and ability. You also exhibit deep understanding and empathy to such an extent that you are a constant source of support in troubled times. Thank you for all you do and please keep doing it as I can not overemphasis the help you give to others. Thank you very much. Yours faithfully MrD53
Brilliant work.!..I not only watched and listened,I sang along as well.!👍..Your ‘Les Taxis de la Marne’ is Oui bon monsieur.!.Also as ever you are a real gentleman in your presentation.!.Viva QDC.!👍❤️🇫🇷🇺🇸🇬🇧❤️👍
Bravissimo qdc, ti seguo sempre con tanta simpatia e ammiro la tua voglia di costruire sempre qualcosa di diverso e provare nuove tecniche. Continua così!!!!!!
QDC, this is great. Probably your best work so far. For someone that says he finds the figures boring to do, that driver turned out great. Loved the history too.
Been building models off and on just got back to building after my military service was up. By watching your video's qdc I'm learning new things thanks for the great video's keep up the great work.
Gorgeous! You did an excellent job there, the car, the figures, the base, all just looks really good and is interesting to behold. Very tempted now to build this kit as well :) Your videos are a great source of inspiration.
QDC, you are just plain AWESOME! historical explanation excellent, build superb. Your style is the best. You even have got me thinking of trying to do figures, which I never do AAA+++
That's mighty nice of you to say that. Thank you very for your kind words. It's nice to know that my video inspired you to try building and painting figures!
If you like this video. I recently made a French Renault R35 tank that is a diorama. I made a diorama of the French Resistance during World War Two. You maybe interested in seeing that. It's here on RU-vid 😊
Good speech at 18.00! Even advanced modellers often don't think their model is good enough. Point is, you create something and no matter how it comes out, it's your achievement and also a nice passing of time. Collin good job! Very nice to make something with vibrant colours, right? That's also why I started the Titanic, to do something else besides armour. It was a very entertaining video, thank you. Looking forward to the next one, while I look this one again!
Yes! I think most people take this hobby too seriously. I been to places on the Internet where I meet many people who are perfectionists. They would glorify themselves and being perfect and then belittle others who doesn't meet their standards. That is a form of bullying. Doing a hobby is supposed to be relaxing and fun. What I said is really just a reminder what what this hobby is all about. I am not sure, but I think I am one of the few people on RU-vid who says this. :) This is a fun kit in terms of painting. The vibrant colors of the cab makes it special for me. I especially like the red color. The yellow chassis was a hard color to mix. I didn't want a bright yellow so I had to add brown to it to give it the right shade I needed and it works. :) Thanks for all your kind words and I hope your Titanic project will be rewarding for you! Take care my friend!!!
Don't mind me, I'm just looking for more modelling videos in your channel, the ones that I haven't watched yet. Like most of your builds, it may be simple but the finished product is fantastic, whenever you brought a historical model you always tell a short history about it, I like that, and the song you used to make the models is Italian, a great contrast.
Wow!!! I been posting on RU-vid for about 10 years, I think. You must be in high school by now. I am flattered that you still watch my videos. I am a little surprised that this hobby still interests you! Thanks my friend :)
Very intricate kits to build. But , as you say , highly detailed. Definitely not for the beginner. I built the 1917 Australian Army car. What a build that was. Nice job , David.👍
Great job there mate !, i've been looking for someone to do a review of this kit to help me make up my mind on whether to buy it or not, this helped a great deal, love the kit and the subject matter. Next kit on my "To Buy" list.............it's getting longer and longer !
Hello from Paris QDC. I like your videos and your French accent, both are very nice. I built airplane models when I was young, I really want to start again ...
Thank you for your kind words. Yes, you can start again building model kits. This is a hobby that you can do at any age. I am happy you are inspired to build model kits again. Take care and have a great day! :)
Subscribed! You did this really well mate! I’m hoping to get this kit from emodels soon! I love the way you say that you are not a professional and are just as amazing as other people at the end of your videos!
Amazing build I have been watching all of your build for some time now. I usually watch on my T.V. so I can`t comment. But you have been a big inspiration to me. Even though I don`t build military model`s I have a few. I just purchased the Bronco Models Jeep you built and have plans on recreating the jeep in the series The Rat Patrol. I just made a video showing my new model and giving your channel a shout out to all of mt subscribers. Thanks for the video`s..........................................................................................Ken
another fantastic build and video QDC! I had a question though; I'm brand new to building model kits and was wondering if i should start out with a 1/35th scale model or maybe a 1/16th model. Any insight would be welcome!
Thanks. It depends on your style and affordability. I tend to steer beginners to 1/35 because there are a range of prices they can afford to build and enjoy. 1/16 is more expensive for the most part.
Great looking model, but the plaque does sit well with me. Les taxis is the plural form and her you represent one of many taxis. So maybe it should have be Le taxi de la Marne, or you could build another one :P
You are right. The plural form, Les Taxi De La Marne is appropriate because many taxis were use to transport troops from Paris to the river Marne. As a result, I should have added one more taxi to the diorama to make it appropriate to the name. :)
Haha cat never gets on my work bench bloddy hair everywhere! I was just watching a documentary last night on ww1 bandit had a bit about the soldiers taken by taxi to the frontline, they were saying it's a bigger story than what actually happened at the time think it took 100 men only but still cool odd we bit of history again for the french lol
Thanks! I remember that tank on the Tank Museum's video as being their number 1 worst tank. I want to build it myself too. I already have kit ready to start but I think I will make this kit for the new year. Thanks! This is the video for Tank Museum video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gZHwasYjcIA.html
