English subtitles are available. This is a complete build of Revell HMS Kelly. I'm building this kit to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the D-Day invasion. Enjoy.
Hello sir i have not built a ship since the 1960s so have just got myself the king George v by tamiya and am looking forward to the build as always you have made a lovely job of this kit and the base looks amazing 👏 so thanks for the time and effort you put in to the videos that you post for us and keep them coming all the best to you and buster and happy modelling everyone 👍 😀
Thank you for your kind words. The King George the V from Tamiya sounds like a kit well worth building. Tamiya has a good reputation of manufacturing great kits for most modelers to enjoy. Thank you for also watching this video. Take care.
Re-release of an old Matchbox kit. I know you don't do many ships but you always do a nice job 👍. I've recently got back into ships and have discovered Flyhawk models. If you want seriously good detail and are fond of self torture, I highly recommend 😁 You've made a silk purse from a sow's ear with this one.... good work on the diorama 👍
Another interesting video and superb diorama, Congrats,,And the great complement of your cute cat, Certainly the sister ship HMS Jervis was in the D Day under command of Lieutenant Commander Roger Hill, having a active career, in 5½ years of war and 13 major action. without losses in the crew
Wow. I did not know that. Thank you for letting me know more about other K Class destroyers that participated in the D-Day invasion. And thanks for watching my video. I honestly appreciate it.
Have recently returned back to your channel. I’ve Kind of put building kits away for a while, but still enjoying the videos. Still my favorite model building account. Hope all is well!
Saw the large scale model Sherman tank under the window , I'm amazed your cat hasn't tried to push it on to the floor yet !!! ( i did notice your cat eyeballing it for a few seconds , though) 😮😮😮
Fantastic work on this kit. If I am not mistaken, this was originally a Matchbox kit from the late 70s or early 80s that Revell reproduced. It is amazing how good a simple kit can turn out by just making a simple base to give more life. Keep up the great work.
It's been a long time since I built a model ship. It sounds like I need to build another one. Models like the one you have purchased and built are often used for table top gaming. Don't ever stop building.
I didn't know that. That would make sense because of its small size. Thanks for watching and maybe you should build a model ship as your next project. Take care.
Excellent..... and a great addition to the D-Day Group Build.. :) Drilling out the torpedo tubes was a nice touch and placing it in a seascape really made the little ship stand out! Are you sure you're not a master modeller?? ;)
Cool. Spending time with your children is very important. Before you know it, your children has become adults and you are suddenly older. It's important to take the time with your children as they grow. Thank you for watching and take care.
This is the ex matchbox kit first issued in 1980 re-released by Revell which is why the kit is a little simplified but saying that you made it look fantastic .
Throughout her service, Kelly was commanded by Lord Louis Mountbatten, as commander (Captain (D)) of the 5th Destroyer Flotilla. She was lost in action in 1941 during the Battle of Crete. The film 'In Which We Serve' is based on the Kelly and Mountbatten.
I didn't know that. The instructions on the kit did mention she was sunk but your information adds more history. Thanks and thank you for watching. I honestly appreciate it.
@@qdc748abeen subscribed for years. Your videos are motivating me to start building models the little details you’re able to add let’s just say I’m taking notes!
