I followed her for awhile and one thing I really respect is after Landon’s passing she did step away and even got a “real” job to help with her coping and grief if I remember correctly. I really respect her

I watched this video, I love how well spoken she is, especially since after coming back from therapy after her husband passed and I noticed the content on her channel shift from family content to more centered around her! She actually takes her kids to daycare when she films her videos now!

The fact that she calls it “behind the scenes” as if they were acting in a freaking tv show is telling. Like that was her life. The fact that she faked things so much for money is sad. I wonder how many people watched her channel back in the day - I did. She didn’t treat the boyfriend very nicely and he ended up killing himself. She pushed and pushed to have this RU-vid life and he literally killed himself over the stress. I don’t think people should be giving her so much credit, just because she is eloquent. She hasn’t taken the kids off her channel completely and she still monetizes those old videos. It is awful.

Her HUSBAND struggled with ADHD and anxiety since childhood and became very addicted to pills that his psychologist prescribed him, which unfortunately led to him taking his own life. The same thing happened to my dad-it’s horribly common. Plus they were KIDS when they became parents, it took a toll on both of them mentally. It’s so gross of you to come on here attacking a person A.that you don’t know B.has owned up to her mistakes that she made at a very young ageC.gone through something very traumatic. It’s admirable of her to open up about her own mistakes and failures instead of hiding from them. Shame on you.

I'm so glad you're finally covering her. Her channel is a perfect example of how little people really know about the families that share their life on youtube, you see a happy little family and then find out about drugs, domestic abuse and suicide. She's grown up a lot and I've noticed that the channel really has become more about her than her kids (before it was basically centered around her daughter Collette) and she's become really inspiring

Her "friends" basically exploited her and made a whole video about what really happened and it included a recorded phone call where she said that he put a knife to her throat when she was pregnant and that he was punching holes in the walls etc (apparently he was really messed up and aggressive because of the drugs he was prescribed so he wasn't really himself). There were also a lot of other problematic things described in the video but the phone call was the only proof that they had so I'm not going to write about those other things. The "friends" who posted it were briefly included in one of her videos (Shopping for our new puppy) and you can almost see how desperate they looked to be on camera (especially the girl)

I don't think until this moment she realized what the whole youtube vlogging situation really was. She was a child. She was very young and has been through a lot. I’m a 45 yr old mother with 4 teenagers from Ontario and I’ve been following Camryn since JUST after her first baby was born and I ADORE her. I feel a sense of maternal pride for her and her growth over the last 18 months since Landon died. She’s just done SOOOO well with her online presence through all of that trauma. This reminds me that living with a RU-vid parent is probably like it was for me living with an alcoholic parent. Behaving so much different wen he had alcohol. For me it was wen he was holding a bottle and for them it's wen they have a camera. I feel for these kids so much and I applaud her for her honestly and I think if she applies herself she will succeed in what ever she wants to do. It even sounds like she has family to help her. I was also a teen mom, I was 15 when I got pregnant and just had turned 16 when I had my son ( I am now 41). This was during the 90s so there was no social media, barely internet, we had pagers, lol. To hear Cam open up, be raw and vulnerable and speak so eloquently at only 19 and to ha e gone what shes gone thru is incredible. 1 thing I am so glad she didn't do was bust out her camera moments after she found her husband in the garage, let alone when she visited him in the hospital until he passed. I know with so many other channels like Jess, I guarantee she would have filmed the ambulance, in the ER, in ICU, at his funeral, every single moment. I believe Cam is writing a book, I really hope it gets published

I've never heard of this girl, but when she said I was trying to be loved and accepted, that broke me. Very sorry for her loss. I wish her the best.

I never followed Cam and Fam, but I was recommended her video when her husband sadly took his life after suffering from depression and mental illnesses. I watched that video and few after to see how she was coping. I can’t speak on a lot involving that channel, but I do know for sure that she did not monetize the video “my husband passed away”. It’s quite heart wrenching to see such a young mom(and at any age) have to go through these struggles, I do hope she comes out of all of this stronger, she seems like she does have a good head on her shoulders.
