Awesome looking work. Thank you for the shout out. I give my knowledge away because God blessed me with it for free. Jesus paid it all in full and I am forever in his debt. Proverbs 11:25 Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered. Love you brother. Thanks again
Looking great!! Just a quick suggestion (ignore it if you wish): I had a similar problem when I did my floor pans with the hole not being in the right spot for the body bushing mount. I just cut a small round patch of sheet metal and welded it it and ground it smooth on both sides. Then I re-measured to the center of the hole and drilled a new hole. Then I aligned the bracket to the hole and welded the bracket in. It seems that it would be a lot easier to move the hole than to change the alignment and spacing of your firewall to trunk floor seam. I might be a little late with the suggestion since you welded the bracket, but I thought I would mention it to you.
Roger I love how you use your MIG pliers after each weld. They really help. Actually it makes a sharp point on the wire that will scratch the weld thru primer and help the wire the make contact and start better.
Looking good. I think you made the right decision with the transmission. I'm curious to see what kind of modifications you will need to make for the tunnel. What are you doing for a crossmember?
Roger, just a question for my ignorance, as i don't know sh*t about welding, why grind down the spot weld if it's going to be hidden anyways , and doesn't it weaken it ?
