Can a live action Legend of Zelda movie work?

I would love if they did a Dark Souls/Bloodborne aesthetic style Ocarina of Time movie. Could be really incredible, but we’ll see how it goes I doubt they’re going to go a darker route…

Here is is what I wanted to see in a live action Legend of Zelda movie: -History of Hyrule, the Goddess Hylia, Demon King Demise, three Goddesses(Din, Nayru, and Farore) and the Triforce - Ganondorf as the main baddy with some more in depth into his character - Link x Princess Zelda's relationship ( a build up where they started out as friends at first until their bond grows even further as they become lovers as they are willing to sacrifice and love for each other over the course of their cinematic journey) - A young and unfamiliar cast for the role of Link and Zelda - Link’s inner struggle between being a Hero of Hyrule and his own happiness. - Link's own family like his uncle, father and lil sister - Zelda’s dilemma of her role of sealing Ganon/Ganondorf away while she wants to forge her own path (as we have seen in Breath of the Wild); caught in between being what’s expected from society versus being who she wants to be. - An original story ( not a copy of Ocarina of Time, Breath of the Wild, or Tears of the Kingdom) that is well structured with it's own set of characters, a new version of Hyrule, and a epic action- fantasy with a dash of gritty realism that is build by confident writers.

The closest I can think of was The Legend of Zelda Cartoon by DiC, excuse me Princess, a class line by the Link of that cartoon, it was unpopular and only lasted 13 episodes. The later appeared again in Captain N and the Game Master with Link and Zelda, talking. I agree with you about using unknown actors, as I see to many known names.

10 years is a long time for Miyamoto and Avi to converse this film. Them aiming and planning for movie production that far out.

Harry Potter can lead to possession as it uses spells in its writings and Game of Thrones is just bad news all together. Most of your videos are great and I. Can Agree that we should not have famous actors taking on the roles of a Zelda movie , but those kinds of stories are what would ruin any attempt to do the franchise justice.

My hope for this Legend of Zelda movie is Link x Zelda's relationship is well established as done in both Skyward Sword, Spirit Tracks and BOTW/TOTK. This beloved pair means alot to the Zelda fans as it does to me. And these iconic characters should be played by young actors since they’re teenagers. Their bond is much more than just your simple Knight and Princess dynamic. And it should not be professional like how Twilight Princess has done. Plus, they are the reincarnations of the Goddess Hylia and her first Chosen Hero.

I still dont understand why Nintendo gives the Zelda IP to sony. sony has been ruining so many franchises in the past they are most def gonna ruin Zelda. Bleak and scary time for all Nintendo fans indeed
