Can The Police Lie to You During A Criminal Investigation?

The better question to ask is when do they have to be honest? Answer. Never. Certainly not testifying in court.

I thought this was unlawful in Canada? A RCMP officer told me so, once.

There must be a limit to what they can lie about though, no? Can they tell you you're under arrest if you aren't? Or that you're being detained when you were actually free to leave?

I was just arrested for filming my local police station from a public sidewalk they seized my phone nokia camera and tripod then while I was held in cell at station amd treated horribly in the cells they executed a search warrant at my home where my sons mother and 12 yr old son were, they seized my sons mothers laptop she uses for work as she is the administrative assistant at the hospital here,,, they took my 12 yr olds cell phone he has it so we can get ahold of him when we're out as we don't have a home phone they took 2 old cellphones and 2 external harddrives I used to backup my home security cameras,, if you search northbay police officer boyer driving with expired tags that video i posted will show up i took it sept 17th from a public sidewalk and the cop was parked on a public street behind the cop shop watch that video because in my synopsis for bail he alleges that I was concealed dressed in dark clothing and jumped outta the bushes at em and he had to lock himself in his vehicle out of fear thats clearly not what happened in the video,, i also filed a lawsuit against the city and the police service well i had started to i had applied for a fee waiver for civil court and it was granted so I picked up the certificate and then the following day when I tried to film and thumbnail from a public sidewalk of the police station building sgt cook who I was naming in my civil suit arrested me i had only been there maybe 3 mins and he arrested me then had 3 female civilian police employees play the victim and act like they were all in fear amd scared of the guy on the sidewalk with a camera,,,,yet thier at the police station surrounded by police ... any ways they charged me with 3 counts of criminal harassment just because I was filming the police station from public then this sgt cook who I had evidence on and was going to sue obtained a search warrant and took all my evidence i had against him for my civil case and planned to rely on,,he didn't provide my sons mother with an inventory or receipt of items seized they even took lawyer client stuff I had related to the civil case the law society gave me a referral for a free 30min consult so I had the lawyers name and referral number and some notes i took down while talking to him they took all that they were clearly only interested in obtaining anything I had obtained that made them look unfavorably luckily when I finally got bail from the jail 2 days later I was locked out of my youtube google everything all my passwords had been changed,,,,they violated every right I have and traumatized my sons mother and my son when they raided my house ,, if u can obtain video from the 24hrs I was held in cell 5 at the police station you'll see how they treated me while I was there and what they did simply because i was engaged in a legally protected activity and was exercising my right to film in public as I gathered content for a story i was working on that involved the police service ...the very next morning after getting the video of officer boyer with expired registration they sent 2 detectives to my house to serve me tresspass notice for the police station and on on behalf of the fire station next door to them and I wasn't on either property and have a 2hr 20min video to prove it from sept 17th when i was in the area...i really need some help with this im located in ontario

The entire judicial system is inheritantly based upon the Judaic-Christian faith, the first judges ever in history come from it! Is it not time for the judicial system to honor it's origins?
